Justification for creating a Wiki article for this book[edit]

This book is not just another memoir from your typical soldier, but due to the fact that Daugherty served in the 92nd Infantry, which was a segregated, all African American division, it makes it much more historically important. In addition, he has written this book with much insight and intelligence, making it noteworthy. Saukkomies 06:50, 23 November 2009 (UTC)

Don't Forget the 93rd Infantry Division[edit]

I'm looking forward to reading this book!! But the 92nd is not the only African American division to see action in World War II. Don't the the 93rd that served in the Pacific. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Soldierofchicago (talkcontribs) 00:57, 17 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Good point! However, nobody has written a book about the 93rd, have they? If so, feel free to create a new article about it! --Saukkomies talk 04:34, 18 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Rogue Edit[edit]

On July 11, 2013, user 184.2.152.230 removed the entire lead paragraph of this article and replaced it with complete nonsense about it being part of a series of books that discuss the American bison. I reverted the edit post haste. Further attempts to attack and sabotage this article will be turned over to administrators to deal with. --Saukkomies talk 03:21, 12 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]
