Someone more knowledgable than I am about Barks' work should update this to reference the forthcoming Carl Barks Collection from Gemstone: http://www.amazon.com/Carl-Barks-Collection-Set-1/dp/1603600639

Gemstone has suspended operations, and the link in any case is dead. Probably so are prospects for the American edition any time soon. Dgabbard (talk) 01:30, 16 April 2009 (UTC)

Table

I don't think that the publication date is so interesting anymore, so instead I have made another table that show the 30 volumes together with the extra 6 volumes that will be published in Norway at least. 81.25.184.57 (talk) 13:05, 15 September 2009 (UTC)

The Collected Works of Carl Barks → The Carl Barks Collection — The correct international name for this book project is The Carl Barks Collection, as decided by the books' publisher Egmont. The name currently used by Wikipedia (The Collected Works of Carl Barks) is simply a fan translation of the Scandinavian names used for this project.--85.81.82.15 (talk) 21:56, 16 January 2011 (UTC)

More information: the name "Carl Barks Collection" was used in Germany (source: http://www.amazon.de/Carl-Barks-Collection/dp/3770428315/) and in the US would have been used if the US publisher's planned release of the book series had gone ahead (source: http://www.amazon.ca/Carl-Barks-Collection-Set/dp/1603600639 ).
