Renaming to avoid confusion with the well known political concept[edit]

This article has a name which relates internationally to the very important political governance concept known as "the common good." I have already twice come to this article when trying to get to the real article (which is under the name "Common Good"). I doubt if even 10% of the people on wikipedia typing "the common good" into the search field intend to find this article on a small British political party. May I suggest renaming this article to "The Common Good Party" and redirecting the searches for "the common good" to the article titled "Common Good"? It would certainly allow more people to reach their correct destination and avoid confusion and wasted time. --Rameses 02:00, 26 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:Common Good -The- 1.gif[edit]

Image:Common Good -The- 1.gif is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Notability tag[edit]

I see a Notability tag has been added.
This party has featured in a number of elections, so it seems at least as notable as any of the other minor parties listed in the UK political parties Category .
OTOH I agree with User:Rameses ("Renaming..." above) that it shouldn’t be occupying the page titled "The common good”, which is a political concept with a much broader application.
OTGH I suggest we keep this article, but move it to TCG (political party) and create a disambiguation page here for the (now half-a-dozen) uses of the term.
If there are no objections I will do that next week. Moonraker12 (talk) 16:34, 27 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

It's been 4 weeks, and I've heard no objections, so it's been moved. Moonraker12 (talk) 14:05, 29 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Biased[edit]

The article seems to promote the party's religious beliefs. --Mr. Guye (talk) 03:30, 3 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

The party's beliefs are religious and I'm sure it would wish to promote its policies and beliefs, but the article itself does not promote anything. Emeraude (talk) 22:18, 4 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]
