Title[edit]

The true and most common name of this list is The Other Europe with Tsipras. I propose to use this name for the page --Maremmano (talk) 19:25, 17 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

The most common name is definitely the shortened one and I don't see any reason for moving the article. --Checco (talk) 14:18, 20 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]
The most common name is the original, in Italy everyone calls it "L'Altra Europa con Tsipras" (official name) or "Lista Tsipras" (unofficial name) and a lot of english sources called it "The Other Europe with Tsipras" ([1], [2], [3], [4], [5], [6], [7], [8], [9]). The complete and official name is also the most common and known--Maremmano (talk) 12:53, 21 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Ok, I have shown that "The Other Europe with Tsipras" is the most common name, I move the page--Maremmano (talk) 08:12, 28 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Where is consensus? I moved the article back to its original name. --Checco (talk) 07:39, 3 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]
You have said that "The Other Europe" is the most common name: do you have some sources to prove your affirmation? If not it is an useless affirmation...--Maremmano (talk) 20:26, 3 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]
First of all, do you have consensus for your move? As my rollback and some collateral edits by User:Autospark (who fixed many links to this article yesterday) recently showed, you don't. In February User:Nick.mon started the article with the current name and no-one had anything to say about it, including me and other users, who have more or less explicitly expressed their support for the status quo. Please note that sometimes consensus differs from sources. I would suggest a WP:RM on the issue. --Checco (talk) 09:32, 4 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]
In my view the most common name used by newspapers is Lista Tsipras (Tsipras List) but the name of the list is The Other Europe; "with Tsipras" was used only to say that the party supported the Greek leader to become the President of the European Commission. So in my view the title should remain "The Other Europe". -- Nick.mon (talk) 10:06, 4 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Nick.mon is right on Lista Tsipras, which was as common as L'Altra Europa during the election campaign, but it is probably true that the official name was L'Altra Europa con Tsipras. However, I continue to think that "The Other Europe" is the best article's name. --Checco (talk) 10:26, 4 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]
I agree with both Nick.mon and Checco, the article title is the best and most correct one unless information suggests otherwise. (I may be wrong but I assumed that Tsipras List was an informal title used by the media, and L'Altra Europa con Tsipras is comparable to Sinistra Ecologia Libertà con Vendola, as in an election symbol with a recognisable name rather than the alliance's actual title.)--Autospark (talk) 11:20, 4 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I would prefer the complete name but the consensus for "The Other Europe" is evident, therefore I accept it--Maremmano (talk) 08:12, 5 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]
