Tonibler[edit]

For the sceptics among you. There are lots of other references to back this up. TheRetroGuy (talk) 21:19, 23 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

attempting to add inconsequential reference to absurdist-character in The New Statesman ambiguation page, being repedatively deleted...[edit]

someone or something , is removing a utterly inconsequential reference to a only in it for one episode 'anyway' , soto speak , absurdist-character reference for the tony blair 'character' , mentioned in [ https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_New_Statesman ] , in not , the, main page for tony blair , which would be obviously not defendable if the person didnt want it / their party, etc ....

but the mere disambiguation page ... which suggestes to me , someone trying to act with BIAS , against the purpose of the character / use of the personage of tony blair the person , without thought to the purposefullnesses / reason , for the absurdist chracter anyway.

over sesnsitive ?

might call it that , but removing a mere reference , in a disambiguation page , is in it self , MORE inapropriate , than the would be's of the immaturities of the content consumers of the then, 'that' , kind, of comedy.

demonstrate some maturity then in leaving there , whoever you are - does tony NEED , your protection?

and if you must know , by my memory , SOMEtimes , he had more moderates understanding of neccessity than 'our' , current cayman-islands-enjoying for the people fat-boy, who deserves a lot more than critcisms / charaterization - has he been hooked up to a lie-detector YET?

I don't know what the gibberish above is trying to say, but our policy is absolutely clear on this. If it's not mentioned in the article being linked to, it doesn't go on the disambiguation page. ‑ Iridescent 17:09, 19 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]

The New Statesman character[edit]

This entry should not be included on this page if it refers to man who went on to be Prime Minister. Also, a character by the name of Tony Blair is not mentioned in the article on The New Statesman. Disambiguation pages are for instances where confusion could arise when one is searching for similarly named people, but I really can't imagine anyone searching here for an instance when somebody was briefly depicted in a comedy series a quarter of a century or more ago. For such instances there is Cultural depictions of Tony Blair, and that is where this entry should be added. This is Paul (talk) 17:08, 19 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]
