Update fair and unfair play, fast bowling, first-class cricket, googly, innings, leg break, limited overs cricket, not out, Pakistan Cricket Board, spin bowling, underarm bowling, wicket, and other fundamental articles classified by the WikiProject as high-importance so that they meet WP:Verifiability policy standards

Add infoboxes to the player articles found at Wikipedia:WikiProject Cricket/requested infoboxes

Cricket people

Create articles about 19th century players who are listed in Wikipedia:WikiProject Cricket/19th century players
Create biographies about Bangladeshi players from the task force redlink list
Check the listing of key bios at Wikipedia:WikiProject Cricket/Key biographies and improve these to at least B-class.
Create batting/bowling graphs for cricketers who have excelled in international cricket.
Create articles for redlinks present here and here

Contested deletion[edit]

This article should not be speedy deleted as being recently created, having no relevant page history and duplicating an existing English Wikipedia topic, because... it is a notable sporting event in Sri Lankan Schools sporting calendar, that draws large number of spectators and content in the local media. --Cossde (talk) 16:33, 2 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Trinity-Antonian Cricket Encounter- Use of my Content[edit]

Hi, I created draft of Trinity-Antonian Cricket Encounter for AfC on "16:23, 27 August 2012" (Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/Trinity-Antonian Cricket Encounter). It was rejected pending further improvements. Apparently, you've used my content and created this page. Hello Sajeewashaluka, one of the reasons why I nominated this article for speedy deletion was that Cossde had copied your work on Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/Trinity-Antonian Cricket Encounter. If you compare these two versions - Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/Trinity-Antonian Cricket Encounter and Trinity-Antonian Cricket Encounter - you will see that Cossde has copied your work word-for-word. This is against Wikipedia's licensing which requires that attribution be given to the original author (you). Cossde has in effect plagiarised your work and passed if off as his. Hi Sajeewashaluka, my assumption was that this content was copyright-free as content on Wikipedia is. If you want to have it removed you may do so. I never took nor want to take credit for it. I've done a history merge; Sajeewashaluka is now listed as the original author of record. Cossde, that was extremely poor form; although Wikipedia content is free, you must preserve its provenance as much as possible. DS (talk) 15:11, 5 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]
