England[edit]

Will England be in the game, i know they aren't going. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.6.37.146 (talk) 19:48, 22 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

England will be in it, as well as all of the other European National Teams. I'm not sure if Montenegro will though, because they weren't in the Qualification. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 207.112.23.103 (talk) 20:46, 24 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Montenegro are in the game, see the post in section 3. // Finns 18:02, 27 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Rosters[edit]

Do all teams have correct rosters? In FIFA 08, the Netherlands squad is filled with fake players, I'm wondering if there is the same issue in this game. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 192.147.222.2 (talk) 13:40, 1 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Its the same on Euro 2008, they have the correct kits unlike Fifa 08 but the team is made up of fake players. Here is a list;

Fake Kits: Cyprus, Finland, Hungary, Israel, Ukraine

Fake Teams: Armenia, Azerbajian, Belarus, Faroe Islands, Georgia, Iceland, Kazakhstan, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Moldova, Montenegro, Netherlands, Russia, Serbia, Wales

Well that's really lame but I kind of saw it coming. Is there an option to make selections for the international squads like there was in 08 at least? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 192.147.222.2 (talk) 12:55, 2 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

No, but each team is cramed with players, the lowest player for England for example is Michael Dawson. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 84.70.49.112 (talk) 17:34, 4 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

why is there no proper dutch players when they are contenders for the cup —Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.157.250.162 (talk) 17:54, 13 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I'm not sure but EA have always had trouble getting the rights to the Netherlands, I can't recall a football game which does feature them. This is the first time they have an official kit on a football game, so at least its going forward in some way.
What does fake teams mean? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Thegamecalledrez (talkcontribs) 05:46, 17 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
It means they don't have the rights to the names or faces to any of the players, so each player will be called a made up name and won't have his real face.

they had the real dutch team with real kit on the 2006 world cup game. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.157.250.162 (talk) 16:17, 30 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

you n00bs PES 2008 has the netherlands!!!! hahhaaa —Preceding unsigned comment added by 75.68.245.154 (talk) 20:09, 30 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

It may have the Netherlands, but it is also missing about 85% of the teams and clubs that FIFA has. Vincent Valentine 20:19, 30 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
As well as not including the Euro event. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 84.68.1.3 (talk) 18:57, 6 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Im sorry to interup but this is UEFA Euro 2008, not PES 2008. BTW the Russian team is officaly licensed, there kit is only the defualt from 2006 FIFA World Cup.--AJ44 (talk) 00:44, 30 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Montenegro[edit]

I have added the superscript 3, saying that to play in the UEFA Euro 2008 qualifying mode, they must be added manually, which you do in the same way as any other FIFA game. // Finns 18:01, 27 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

well, in real life Montenegrin team was established after the qualifications for EURO began —Preceding unsigned comment added by 77.222.27.42 (talk) 17:05, 24 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

No Euro Cup in PSP[edit]

While playing the game with the PSP version, I won the cup with Spain, but they did not hold the Euro cup. I do not know why. In previous Euro and World Cup games, they had the trophy. But why not here? BTW what was weird is that I played Germany in the Final. Funny thing is it happend in real life.--AJ44 (talk) 00:52, 30 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
