  • A nit really, while moving White oak (the tree) to White Oak make sense by Flora naming conventions -- most of the things listed on what is currently White Oak use that exact capitalization. It was requested that this article be renamed but there was no consensus for it be moved. To prevent the problems of amibuigty, I have moved white oak to Quercus alba; scientific names are preferred by WP:PLANTS anyway and are a perfect disambiguation tool in instances like this. --Stemonitis 07:53, 8 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
