My hope would be that we could build out the Emerson High School (Gary) page to highlight Mr. Wirt's philosophy and the history of the (now closed) high school program that operated in that building. The focus of that page would be the historic building/facility and the previously operating high school.

The Emerson School for Visual and Performing Arts page would focus on the VPA program, which is now in its 3rd location, and would reference the history from 1982(approx.) until today and into the future. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Bluedolphin100 (talkcontribs) 00:24, 29 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]

This page needs to be moved/renamed to "Wirt-Emerson Visual and Performing Arts Academy" Also, the GCSC infobox needs to be installed at the bottom of the page. If you can help with those tasks, please do. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Bluedolphin100 (talkcontribs) 00:37, 29 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Merge[edit]

I suggest that Emerson High School (Gary) not be merged - let that article be for the historic building, and this article be about the current magnet school. Generic1139 (talk) 05:13, 29 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]
