Grammar, punctuation[edit]

This article contains a non-standard (for English) apostrophe: ` instead of '. This page should be moved to "Talk:Witold's report" wanderingstan (talk) 22:57, 13 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I fixed a ton of grammar issues and made some minor corrections based on the Polish version of the article, which is doubtless more accurate. - Metalello (talk) 21:13, 3 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Hello fellow Wikipedians,

I have just added archive links to one external link on Witold's Report. Please take a moment to review my edit. If necessary, add {{cbignore}} after the link to keep me from modifying it. Alternatively, you can add {{nobots|deny=InternetArchiveBot}} to keep me off the page altogether. I made the following changes:

Name[edit]

Three years ago I moved this from Witold's Report to Pilecki's Report with the argument that last name is more informative, but I had second thoughts since. Witold's? Pilecki's? Witold Pilecki's? Also, singular Report or plural Reports? All variants are used, from what I can see in the sources... does anyone else have any preferences? Is there a variant that appears more common than the others? My query results based on GScholar query (note that it is imperfect and can contain occasional errors or unreliable sources/copies):

  • "Pilecki's Report": GScholar, 4. "Raport Pileckiego", 8.
  • "Pilecki's Reports": Gscholar, 4. "Raporty Pileckiego", 2.
  • "Witold's Report": GScholar, 17. "Raport Witolda", 20.
  • "Witold's Reports": GScholar, 0. "Raporty Witolda", 2.

This does suggest however, that the singular "Witold's Report" might be the best name. As such, I am reverting my older move and restoring the previous name. Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| reply here 11:25, 14 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]
