  • Article makes cottaging seem like a distinctly American pastime; as an Irishman who has had to politely decline an invitation when all I really wanted to do was poop, I get the impression it's sort of global. Perhaps drop mention of "American society" for just "society". There's also probably some material to be mined about George Michael's arrest for soliciting a man for sex in a public toilet, and the subsequent music video for "Outside" that makes fun of this (might be hard to source but when I caught him live back in 06 he was selling t-shirts on the tour describing his "latest release" decorating a bathroom wall). That aside, I'm thinking that the article might need a brief copyedit for slang terms; and I'm wondering if we need to actually list all of AskMen's sex positions—not for prudishness, but I'm worried that it would contravene fair use guidelines for essentially reproducing the gist of their article. If you maybe find mention of other position guides in other sources then I'd keep the section, cut down on the actual descriptions and mention that AskMen, along with Sources X, Y and Z, have offered guides on suitable positions; if nothing else is turned up, I'd consider folding that whole section into the "Depictions..." one, abridging it just to mention that the site has an article listing suitable positions.
  • All that aside, however, the article is sound for DYK purposes, and the hook is cited and present. I'm wondering if it might be worth using a hook about gloryholes though, since there's a picture there to accompany that. It's up to you really. GRAPPLE X 21:19, 24 April 2012 (UTC)
  • Thanks for the suggestion. I've expanded the Sex positions section and added multiple references other than Askmem. The shower sex portion can be expanded a lot and there is an entire book on this topic The Sensual Bath: Soaking in Pleasure & Passion. I'll gradually expand that more.
