Nominator hasn't edited since December 19. It would be a great shame if this nomination didn't pass, so requesting another user see if they could propose a new hook here. - ALT1:... that Giovanni Cosimo Bonomo discovered the itch mite was the cause of scabies in 1687?
- ALT2:... that Giovanni Cosimo Bonomo had a hard time finding a job despite discovering that the itch mite was the cause of scabies?
ALT3:... that Giovanni Cosimo Bonomo's 1687 discovery that the itch mite was the cause of scabies was forgotten until 1805?

Article is long enough, new, no copyright violations (translations were made from Italian to English and I found no matches), hooks are cited and interesting (ALT3 needs a source, however), layout is fine now, sources are reliable, no tags are in the article. I copyedited most of the article as I was reviewing and fixed some prose issues. Please check them. There is one "Citation needed" tag I added that needs to be addressed to support ALT3.
