- I don't think any of those sources are reliable sources, for the purposes of referencing articles. Mobygames and GameFAQs are community sites like IMDB. GameFAQs often reuses data from the sister-site GameSpot, so if it isn't on GameSpot, it's user-submitted data. The Japanese WP article doesn't even have sources, so I don't know exactly where to find them. Perhaps someone that reads Japanese could help, because I don't think any reliable English sources will be found. ▫ JohnnyMrNinja 09:35, 11 May 2012 (UTC)
- I understand. I've spent a good deal of time scouring up every source I can find (in English), and I think I've hit just about all I can. I've seen GameFAQs and MobyGames used as sources for empirical data like release dates, game credits, etc, but this is a fairly obscure game that I just happen to find interesting. - The main problem is that back then, before the internet, the English world rarely even heard about Japanese games, let alone wrote about them. Even if they were reported on, that info is unlikely to have made it onto the internet in any reliable fashion. That's why sites like MobyGames and GameFAQs are great resources for user-generated info, but also why these games are impossible to reliably source. I don't think anyone could have done better than you have with the info on this game.▫ JohnnyMrNinja 10:07, 11 May 2012 (UTC)
