The Mel Blanc Show[edit]

  • ... that a signature expression of The Mel Blanc Show was "ugga-ugga-boo, ugga-boo-boo-ugga," the password for Blanc's (the character's) lodge?
  • Comment: The expression was something of a running gag from one episode of the program to the next. It was most often exchanged between Mel Blanc and Mr. Colby (Mel's girlfriend's father and a fellow member of the lodge).

  • New enough, and long enough. Article is neutral (discusses both strengths and weaknesses of show) and sources all paragraphs, using inline citations. No close paraphrasisng or other copyvio issues detected. Hook is short enough, and is, in my opinion, more interesting than average. Hook taken directly from article, offline source accepted AGF. QPQ not required, nominator has less than 5 DYK noms. No image. 78.26 (spin me / revolutions) 17:58, 2 July 2014 (UTC)
