I have not cited a source in the introduction as per WP:LEADCITE guidance. Its use as a celebrity registry office is mentioned in all sources, especially the Museum of London one in the paragraph on weddings. Instead of trying to find a source for all of the specifics in the original hook, let's try an alternative version of the hook that is more clearly supported by sources:
