The Biggest Loser (season 4) is the fourth season of the NBC reality television series entitled The Biggest Loser. The fourth season premiered on September 11, 2007 with 18 overweight contestants in a weight loss competition for an ultimate prize of $250,000. The Biggest Loser campus was located at California State University Channel Islands in Camarillo, California.

The season four contestants were divided into 3 teams: the Red team, led by trainer Kim Lyons; the Blue team, led by trainer Bob Harper; and the Black team, led by trainer Jillian Michaels. The teams were formed on the first episode, with the Red and Blue teams being selected by the two players who had won a foot race across the desert. The Black team was formed with the 6 remaining contestants who were not selected for the Red and Blue teams. While the Red and Blue teams returned to the Biggest Loser campus, the Black team was left behind, believing that they had been eliminated already. Instead, they remained in the desert and trained in secret with their trainer, Jillian, until they arrived on campus for the weigh-in at the end of week 2.

[edit] Teams

Each week, the team that has lost the lowest percentage of their total weight must eliminate one member. On the losing team, the team member who has lost the highest percentage of weight that week is immune and cannot be voted out.

In the seventh week, the teams were dissolved and split into trios. Jez won a temptation and the right to decide the trios:

  • Jez, Neil and Isabeau;
  • Hollie, David and Kae;
  • Bill, Julie and Amy;
  • Nicole, Ryan and Bryan

The individual players, regardless of which trio they belonged to, were allowed the option of continuing to work with their original trainer or switching to another trainer. Only Amy, who felt betrayed by Kim's negative comments prior to the previous week's elimination, opted to change trainers, choosing to train with Jillian.

That same week, Neil, a contestant on the original blue team, ignited controversy when he threw the weigh-in by water loading, which resulted in a weight gain of 17 pounds. He did this in an effort to forcibly eliminate a black team member, and it resulted in Jez's elimination. The following week, he lost 33 pounds. This made him the greatest gainer in one week and the second greatest loser in another week at that time, occurring in back-to-back weeks.

Although they trained separately, the trios competed together in challenges and at the weigh-ins. The trio with the lowest combined percentage of weight loss is considered to have fallen below the yellow line, and its members are up for elimination. The remaining trios each receive one vote during the elimination. In the event of a tie, the trio member with the lowest percentage of weight loss is eliminated.

During the ninth week, the trios were dissolved and the players split into pairs for Green Week. The pairs were: Kae and Amy; Hollie and Bryan; Nicole and Neil; Isabeau and Ryan; Bill and Julie. The contestants competed in their pairs at the challenges and at the weigh-ins. One member of the pair with the lowest percentage of weight loss was eliminated.

During the 10th week, the pairs were dissolved and the players were all competing as individuals. Although there was technically no longer a red, blue, or black team, the players still continued to work out with their original trainers and team, except for Amy who worked with the black team and even wore black colors instead of her original red.

In the 12th week, Bryan, the last remaining member of the red team, was eliminated, which meant that Kim's entire team was completely wiped out, and thus she was eliminated as well. This marks the first time that an entire team, along with a trainer, has been eliminated before the final weigh-in.

In the 14th and final week, Neil, the last remaining member of the blue team, was eliminated, which meant that trainer Bob has also been completely wiped out, and thus he too was also eliminated from the competition, leaving Jillian and her team to win it all. When he was eliminated, Isabeau reminded everyone about what Neil did to Jez seven weeks earlier. The black team wanted revenge against Neil after he sabotaged them, but could not get it because he constantly lost enough weight to keep himself above the yellow line; that is, until the final week of the on-campus competition, when he finally fell below the yellow line despite losing 10 pounds.

[edit] Week 1

The contestants were shocked to see Alison Sweeney as the new host of The Biggest Loser. They were even in bigger shock when they found out the trainers would be dropping in on them by plane. Once the trainers landed on the ground, the contestants had to run across a desert to reach them. Whoever ran to Bob and Kim first were allowed to be the team captains and choose the rest of their teams. Keeping in mind the six contestants not chosen would be sent home. Jerry was the first on to reach Bob and was greeted with a big hug. The next person to get to the finish line was Phil who was representing Kim's red team. After the team captains were chosen, all the contestants had to go to the Last Chance Diner to get to know one another and share their stories. But, after that, it was time to choose teams. After the teams were selected, they boarded a bus with the trainers and waved good-bye to the six remaining contestants who were not chosen. Just as the six remaining contestants were getting ready to pack up their things, a motorcycle raced up the road and pulled over. The six remaining contestants were thrilled to see it was Trainer Jillian telling them they were not going home, but instead, they were on the black team and going to surprise everybody when they return to the campus in two weeks. Now that both teams had arrived back to the new campus, it was time for the first weigh-in. Both teams were shocked with how much the scale was reading. It gave everybody a new incentive to want to lose weight. This was the first weigh in Bob and Kim had ever sat in on. Because nobody knew the black team existed, Jillian trained her team secretly in the desert. She pushed them hard and vowed to only push them harder. Back at the campus, Bob was busy getting his blue team in shape at the gym. The blue team struggled through their first work out, but knew what they had to do. Now it was Kim's turn to push her red team to the limit. Amber had a breakdown and wanted to go home and Kim made sure to make Amber feel strong. Kim wanted to make sure Amber didn't feel like a quitter and wanted to make sure she stayed on the campus. Kim took her red team outside and continued to push them hard. Amber pleaded with Kim to send her home, but her team kept challenging her. Kim pushed Amber even more. After their work out, the blue team headed to the kitchen to get some helpful eating tips from Bob. Kim took her red team to the kitchen to teach them how to eat healthy meals and what to look for in each item of food. Kim and Bob surprised their teams and made them put blindfolds on and they lead them out the door. The blindfolded teams were lead into another room. When they removed their blindfolds, they were faced with plates and plates of junk food. Bob reminded the teams that the food they were looking at was the same amount of food each contestant consumed in one week. Bob and Kim trashed all of the junk food on the table and reminded their teams of what the food has been doing to their bodies. After throwing all the food on the floor, the teams left the room, feeling more alert on what they had been eating. Jillian continued to train her black team to get them ready to surprise both teams back on the campus. Some of them were ready to give up, but Jillian kept pushing them even harder. It was time for the red team and blue team to participate in their first challenge. They had to pull jet planes that were carrying luggage, the exact amount of weight that each contestant wanted to lose. Ali told both teams that the winner of their challenge would receive letters from home. This made the contestants even more determined to win. Both teams fought to stay organized during the competition. The blue team loaded their bags first and made the attempt to pull the plane. In the end, the red team won the competition and got access to letters from home. They broke down and cried as they read letters from their families who missed them and wished them luck. The red team came back to the gym still feeling a high from their win. Kim was wearing camouflaged and told them when that happens; it means it's time for the last chance workout. Back in the other gym, Bob was pushing his blue team more then ever. Reminding them this was their last workout before facing the scale and possible elimination. It was time for the first weigh-in of the show. Both teams were very nervous with what the scale would reveal. Kim and Bob were present, as well. Phil was the last member of the red team to weigh in. He was shocked to see he had lost 26 pounds. The red team lost a total of 87 pounds in their first week and had a 4.43% weight loss. The blue team became nervous. Neil was so happy to have lost 22 pounds. That meant he was back in the 300's. The rest of his team was just as proud of him. Kae had to lose 10 pounds to put the blue team closer to the red team. Kae exceeded all expectations and she lost 20 pounds! Bob got tears in his eyes as he watched Kae celebrate. Ali told Kae she had lost more weight then any other woman at the weigh in. Jerry was the last person to weigh in. He had to lose six pounds to put the blue team ahead in the weigh in. The red team thought they had it in the bag and the blue team was a little nervous to see if Jerry could pull it off. Everybody was shocked when it was revealed that Jerry lost 31 pounds! He lost more weight then any other player has in a single week in the history of the show. With Jerry's huge number, that brought the blue team's total weight loss to a total of 109 pounds and 5.81% of weight loss in total. Which meant blue team won the weigh in. Kim was sad that the red team was going to lose a player. What made her more upset was the fact that Amber kept saying she didn't know if she could do it. When Amber saw how mad she made her team with her comments, she promised Kim that she would try her best and really wanted to stay on the campus. In the end, the red team had to vote and Amber was selected to be the first contestant to go home from the show.

[edit] Week 2

Jillian started the day by weighing her Black team to see how they did. Julie was a little discouraged for losing only two pounds, but Jillian reminded her she was on the right track. The Black team was determined more then ever to return to the campus. Jillian reminded them that even though they lost some weight, they still had a workout to complete. The Red team admitted it was hard eliminating Amber and Kim reminded them that if they wanted to avoid that kind of decision, again, they were going to have to work out even harder. Bob was determined to win the second weigh in, too. So, he took his team on an outdoor hike to get their hearts pumping. He reminded them that staying hydrated was the key and made sure none of his team would quit when they wanted to. Jillian was pushing her Black team to their limits. The team was feeling more united than ever and they wanted to prove they were worthy of staying on the show. Kim was giving her team a lesson in nutrition. She was disappointed in what some of them were considering a meal. So, she grabbed some ingredients and was going to prepare some lean tacos. Holly had a breakdown during her workout and Jillian had to remind her she had two choices: give it her all or nothing will change. Holly was determined to prove to Jillian that she was ready to go back to the campus. It was time for the Red team and Blue team to face their challenge. It involved climbing stairs, a lot of stairs. One by one, a member from each team had to climb ten stories of stairs. The goal was to turn the most of lights off as possible in the building. The teams were neck in neck in the race and it came down to Phil and Jerry. Both teams cheered their players on. In the end, Phil led his Red team to victory! The Red team had to play a game of chance to see who would be getting immunity from possible elimination. In the end, David won the immunity and was so happy that he would have some safety in his back pocket. Bob wanted to know how the Blue team did in the challenge. Jerry kept beating himself up that he didn't beat Phil in the challenge. Bob tried to make Jerry feel better by stating that he beat Phil in every other challenge. Bob was pushing his team as hard as he could, especially reminding them that it was their last chance workout. Patty had a breakdown after the workout. Bob reminded her on how proud she should be for all of her work. She was so happy to hear Bob's encouraging words. Kim lost her cool when Lezlye said she didn't want to run anymore. Kim reminded her team that when they lose a weigh in, it's Kim who gets blamed and she was sick of it. Kim was tired of the women whining. Amy got sick and tired of Kim's pushing, so she walked out of the gym. Lezlye couldn't believe Amy would walk out on the team the way she did. Bob found Amy in the kitchen crying. He wanted to find out what was really going on with her. Amy was reminded that she should lose the weight to live a healthy life for her family. Jillian was reminding her team how important the last chance workout was. It was the one time the Black team got to look the other teams in the eyes for the first time and let them know what a mistake they had made. The Black team was so excited to come back to the campus and surprise the teams at the weigh in. They couldn't wait to see the expressions the other teams' faces when they saw them in the weigh in room. The Blue and Red teams were shocked to see Jillian and her Black team waiting. Bob greeted his former co-trainer with a giant hug, but also expressed fear because he knew Jillian always brought her A-game to the competition. After the Blue team weighed in, their total weight loss was 43 pounds and their percentage of weight lost was 2.43%. They were happy with their numbers. The Red team was hoping to see higher numbers when it came to losing weight and they were easily getting discouraged. Kim wanted to let Lezlye know she did a great job, even if she only lost three pounds. The Red team lost a total of 20 pounds and had 1.26 % of weight lost total. Bob was proud of his team because never in history of the show had a team avoided elimination first two weeks in a row. But, he was very scared of what numbers the Black team would pull. The Black team shocked everybody by winning the weigh in. They lost a total of 47 pounds and 2.70% of weight loss total. Kim was disappointed to find out the Red team would be sending yet another member of their team home. The Red team was nervous on who would be sent home. Each person had their own reasons on why they didn't want to be sent home. Brian had to cast the deciding vote for who would be going home from the Red team and he voted for Lezlye. Lezlye was sad to leave, but let her team know how proud she was of them and knew they would go far.

[edit] Week 3

The Blue and Red team both admitted to being a bit nervous with the Black team back on the campus. Alison assured them things were going to get tougher when the teams had to question their will power. Alison gave the teams a very tempting offer. They were going to be left in a room with all of their most tempting foods. Whoever consumed the most calories would get a pass that would take three pounds off their next weigh-in. It was a double-edged sword. One by one, each player got to go into the temptation room and checked out the food. Some of the players avoided all the bad food, some of them gave into temptation for that three-pound pass. Neil was thinking of his team and decided he would take the four minutes to gorge on all the high calorie food. He knew that in the weigh in, he would still lose weight and on top of that, he would have the three-pound pass to use. Neil made it look like he didn't eat anything when he returned to his team. So, Patty thought she should do all the eating, in order to get the three-pound pass. Of course, she had no idea that Neil had the same idea. Ali announced that the player who consumed the most calories, 1,930, was Patty. Jerry was disappointed because it was an unspoken belief that Neil was the only one to consume food in the temptation room. Kim told her team how proud she was that they refused any of the food in the temptation room. The team had a new outlook on their fate and couldn't wait to prove it at the weigh in. The entire Blue team was mad at Patty for winning the temptation game, when it was an unspoken rule that Neil would be the one winning the game. Then Kae started to cry because she had faith in her team all along, and didn't think they needed to win a stupid game to prove they could win a weigh in. It was a huge awakening to the Blue team, especially Patty, that they have food issues. Bob assured them that the key was to have faith in themselves and in Bob. The team all gave Patty tearful hugs after Bob's speech and forgave her. Bob was training his team by making them run with players on their backs. While Jerry was riding on Ryan's back, he fell to the ground in pain. Jerry's leg was injured.With the Black team, Jillian put Julie in charge of getting Bill ready for his work out. Bill exploded at Julie and started screaming at her about his injured knee. Julie took it personal and Jillian took her aside to calm her down. Bill later apologized to Julie with a hug. Ali told the teams they were going to have to race elementary school kids for their next challenge. Whoever would win the race, would get to go into the winner's circle. The overall winner would be able to place a call to home. The teams were shocked when the fourth grader won the first race. Phil was able to sit in the winner's circle after he won his race. The other teams couldn't believe that a five-year-old beat them in a race. But, in the end, the Red team prevailed as the winners. Now, they couldn't wait until the weigh in to begin. The Red team was happy to be able to make phone calls home. Each member of the Red team couldn't believe how hard it hit them when they heard the voices of their loved ones on the other end of the phone. Bob was determined to speed up his team's metabolism by taking them on a strenuous hike. At first, they were unsure they could do it. But, when they got to the top, they celebrated. Bob was sure that he had the strongest team in the house. After the teams had their last chance work out, Kim took her team aside to tell them how proud she was of them and all of their hard work. She told them the key was their positive attitudes. It’s time for the weigh – in, and the blue team was the first one to be weighed. After pulling such high numbers the weeks before, the Blue team was disappointed with the results this week. They had lost a total of 21 pounds and had a weight loss percentage of 1.22%. The Black team had beaten them twice in a row. The Black team was disappointed by how little they lost this week. But, they kept their positive attitudes. The Black team lost a total of 27 pounds and had a total weight loss percentage of 1.59%.The Red team was relieved to finally have won a weigh in. Kim was so proud of how hard her team had worked this week and it brought the moral up. They had lost a total of 25 pounds and had a total percentage weight loss of 1.89%.It means that the blue team was going to face elimination. Bob was sad to find out one of the Blue team players was going home. The next morning, he discovered that his team had a huge blowout the night before. It was involving a secret vote they had that would vote Jerry out off of the campus. Jerry was hurt because he was the one who picked the Blue team to begin with. The Blue team struggled with their voting and ultimately decided it was time to send Jerry home. He was still thankful for everything he accomplished at his age.

[edit] Week 4

The trainers were surprised to find out they would be facing the temptation challenge. They were presented with delicious looking cupcakes. One of the cupcakes contained a given 15 second advantage for the team in their next challenge. Would the trainers give in to temptation? The trainers were informed that they would also be participating in this week's challenge. This made the cupcakes even more appetizing, because Ali told them the 15-second advantage would guarantee a win at the weigh-in. The trainers said no to the cupcakes because they wanted to set a good example to their teams. The teams all respected their trainers and the decision they made. It was time for the teams to compete in the challenge. The teams would have to retrieve their team flag in a certain amount of time. Each team had to give a time they thought it would take the other team to retrieve the flag, or they could choose to retrieve their own flag at a faster speed. The grand prize wouldn't be revealed until the weigh-in. The bidding war was on and the Black team said they could grab that flag in five minutes and twenty-five seconds. The other teams challenged them to do it. Hollie tripped and fell as she was running down the hill. Jillian helped her up and encouraged her to keep running. Hollie struggled as the team had to turn around and run back up the hill with the flag. Jillian reached the top of the hill with time to spare, but the rest of her Black team were having troubles. They missed the cut-off and the Red team celebrated the Black team's loss. Now it was between the Red and Blue team to do the same bid for times to get the flag. The Red team said they could retrieve their flag in five minutes and fifty-five seconds and the Blue team challenged them. The Red team were able to complete the challenge within the given time and win! The Red team thought this challenge brought them all closer. Amy started to tear up as she started to talk about how much Kim meant to her and how Kim wouldn't allow her to quit during the challenge. Bob took his team to a 24-Hour Fitness gym to challenge them in a class. He let them know how disappointed he was in the fact they did not want to compete in the challenge and instead pawned it off on the other teams. Bob made his team take a spinning class. The trainers gave their players goal shirts to remind themselves on why they were at the campus. The Black team also took the time to try on some of their old clothes to see how much progress was being made. It moved Jillian to tears. It was time for the last chance workout and the teams felt it. Kim was pushing her team to their limits because she wanted them to realize their strengths. Meanwhile, Jillian was trying to make Isabeau realize she could trust her when it came to pushing her. It was time for the weigh in and Alison had some great news for the Red team, who had won the challenge that week. They were granted full immunity from the weigh in. They celebrated with cheers and sighs of relief. The Red team still had to weigh in and Kim was not impressed with the numbers, neither was the rest of the team. They lost a total of nine pounds with a total percentage of 0.69% weight loss for the week. Jillian was very proud of the weight loss numbers with her team this week. Her team lost a total of 50 pounds and a total weight loss percentage of 3%.The Blue team pulled in good numbers, but not good enough to beat the Black team. The Black team won the weigh in and it was time for the Blue team to send another player home. In the end, the Blue team had to come up with the hard decision of voting Patty off the show. It was hard for her to leave, but she had faith that she would be able to reach her goals once she got home. She considered everybody on the Blue team her friends. Alison brought all the teams out to tell them the Biggest Loser campus would be shutting down. But, she couldn't give them a reason why…just yet!

[edit] Week 5

After the Blue team sent Patty home, they were surprised when the Red team and Black team arrived to hear the surprising news that Ali had to say. She told them the campus was shutting down for the week. She told them they were all going to Jamaica! Once the teams arrived in Jamaica, Ali noticed that Bryan wasn't there. Kim made the announcement that Bryan was experiencing chest pains back in California and checked himself into the hospital. The teams met up later that night for dinner. Ali introduced them all to a buffet of treats and the trainers hoped they could show their teams how to face temptation and still have a good time. After dinner, Ali opened up a bit about her weight struggles. The teams felt closer to her after she talked about her own insecurities of growing up on the television. Jillian was becoming frustrated with Jez because he insisted he deserved to drink while in Jamaica. She accused him of not caring about the competition as much as she did. She felt if her team drank alcohol, they would be showing they did not care. Kim was teaching her team how to still get their exercise in while on a tropical vacation. She taught them water aerobics in the pool. Bob was teaching his team a whole new kind of exercise, yoga. It was a perfect way to incorporate the great weather and beautiful scenery with exercise. Jillian took her team out to the beach to give them a boot camp style work out. The Black team was already used to exercising outside given all their time in the desert before returning to the campus. It was time for the first challenge in Jamaica. The teams had to take turns pulling each other to shore from rafts that were floating in the ocean. The winning team would get an entire day of spa treatments. Before the challenge began, Bryan surprised his Red team and showed up to participate. The Black team won the competition hands down and all celebrated after their victory. Now, they were so excited to enjoy their day at the spa. It was time for the last chance workout. Before the Black team could enjoy their pampering, Jillian made sure they got in some water exercises. The Red and Blue teams were doing their last chance workouts while the Black team was getting their massages. It was time for the weigh-ins and the Black team pulled in some nice colors. Julie began to cry when she saw she was back in the 100's. She considered it a huge victory for herself. Holly was happy for her eight-pound weight loss. At the end, the Black team lost a total of 39 pounds with a 2.41% weight loss. Jillian hoped it was enough to win the weigh in. The Red team was happy to see that they had beaten the Black team with their weigh in. The Red team lost a total of 42 pounds with a 3.25% weight loss. Now it was time to see who would face elimination, the Black team or the Blue team. The Blue team was happy because they lost a total of 33 pounds with a 2.83% of weight loss. This meant the Black team was facing elimination for the first time. With the Black team facing elimination, alliances were starting. The girls wanted to vote a guy off to secure the spot of a female biggest loser this year. Julie didn't trust anybody. In the end, the Black team voted Jim off the campus. He completely understood that it was just a game and that his journey wasn't over. He couldn't wait to come back to the finale to show them all of his progress.

[edit] Week 6

Bob was upset that his Blue team had yet to win a challenge. He was pushing his team and getting more and more frustrated with how lazy they were becoming. All three teams went to the beach for their next challenge. The object of the game was to test strength endurance, something all three teams needed work on. The winner of the challenge was going to receive videos from friends and family back home. The challenge began and each team had one player start. The chosen player had to carry beams that were a percentage of their weight across the beach, when they got tired, they dropped the weighted beams and the next team member was set to carry the beams with their percentage of weight. The Black team started strong, but the Red pulled ahead and finished with the help of Phil's strength endurance. Phil led his team to victory and now the Red team was anxious to hear from their loved ones. The Red team watched videos sent from home. Each team member got emotional as they listened to the messages from their friends and family. Kim was losing patience with her Red team during their workouts. They were not giving one hundred percent. Things escalated when David walked out of the gym after Kim tried to get him to run faster on the treadmill. Jillian had the terrible job of telling Hollie that her step-dad called with the news her mom's cancer came back. Hollie rushed home later that night to see her mom and promised she would come back. Alison broke the news to the teams that Hollie's mom had passed away shortly after Hollie arrived back home. But, the weigh in still had to continue. All the teams had Hollie on their minds. The Blue team was excited about their results from the weigh in. The Blue team had lost a total of 31 pounds with a 2.74% of weight loss. Kim was very disappointed at the Red team's weigh in. Her team didn't pull in as high of numbers as she was pushing for. The Red team lost a total of 16 pounds and had a 1.28% of weight loss, putting the Blue team ahead. The Black team was happy with their results at the weigh in. They lost a total of 30 pounds with a 2.36% of total weight loss. The Blue team was thrilled to have won the overall weigh in. Emotions ran high as the Red team had to think about who to send home. When Kim said Phil and Bryan were the strongest ones on the team, Amy felt Kim was telling the Red team to send her home. During the elimination round, the Red team came to a tie between sending Amy or Phil home. That meant it was up to the Blue team to decide. They showed up with the name of team member who would be going home. The Blue team chose for the main competitor, Phil to be eliminated and go home. Phil broke down and cried. He told his team it was an honor for him to be on the show and told his team to remain strong.

[edit] Week 7

Alison surprised the teams with the news that they would no longer be playing together, but instead they would be split into three's. The teams were not happy with this decision. The temptation round had begun and the winner would choose who would be on the team of three. They played a game of high/low using calories and cookies and crackers. Kae decided not to play the game because the calories weren't worth it. The game came down to Jez and Amy, who were consuming over a thousand calories to win the challenge. When it came time to reveal the cards, Jez beat Amy with his Ace and now he had control to pick the teams. Jez selected the new teams for the show. Kae, Hollie and David made up one team, the next was Amy, Julie and Bill, after that was Nicole, Bryan and Ryan and the final team was Isabeau, Neil and himself. The trainers were surprised about the sudden change in the game. The situation got heated when Amy accused Kim of trying to get rid of her and Amy made it no secret that she would rather train with Jillian. Kim wanted to talk to Amy alone to get to the bottom of their rift. Kim credited herself to helping Amy lose weight. Meanwhile, Amy felt Kim had always wanted her to go home and if she got her way; that would be the case. Amy didn't want to argue anymore and told Kim she was going to go with Jillian. The Black team was feeling a little neglected with Amy now infringing Jillian's time. Hollie was also beginning to give Jillian attitude during her workouts, which was not making Jillian happy. It was the first time the challenge would consist of the new teams. The goal was to test the strength of each team by spinning giant and heavy beams around in circles 75 times. The winning team would receive a Bow-Flex home gym for each team member. The teams were off to a strong start with the challenge. In the end, Amy, Bill and Julie were the winners and celebrated. David and Bryan were happy that they stuck with Kim as a trainer. They felt newly motivated as a team and wanted to prove it. The Black team was trying to push Amy harder. Jillian knew it would be struggle with Amy but wanted her to succeed and felt Kim gave up on her too fast. Kim still thought that Amy would regret her decision. It was time for the first weigh in as trios and Alison let everybody know that the team with the lowest weight loss percentage would face elimination. Amy shocked everybody when she didn't lose any weight during her weigh in and instead maintained. Ryan was depressed to see that instead of losing weight, he actually gained a pound. The rest of his team was just as shocked about what the scale had to say. Neil only had to lose one pound in order to keep his team out of elimination. All of the teams were in shock with Neil's results. He had gained 17 pounds! He felt so bad for letting his team down and didn't know what to say. That meant him, Isabeau, and Jez would be going to the elimination round. Everybody had thought Neil purposely gained the weight to throw the game. He came downstairs to defend himself and swore up and down that he no intentions for gaining the weight. It wasn't until Neil started talking about how somebody would gain that much weight in one week, Hollie started asking questions and Neil's cover was blown. The other players thought that Neil's intentional weight gain was a huge disrespect to the game. Neil was now more concerned about Bob's reaction. Bob was furious with Neil and didn't want to hear his excuses. Jillian was extremely angry at Neil's weight gain and thought the entire Blue team was in on it. Isabeau was scared because she knew that meant she could possibly be going home, but knew she would be going home a lot stronger then she was going into the game. Jez couldn't believe Neil could be so deceptive. He felt double-crossed and now had the fear of going home. Jillian assured him it was an assassination attack on her Black team, which angered her more, but made sure her team stayed focused on their workouts. It was time to decide who would be eliminated. Before the names were revealed, Jez made it clear that he should have never had faith in Neil, but Neil replied he was just playing the game. Jez was crushed when the other teams voted him off the campus. Jez said he wasn't ready to leave the campus, but at least he could leave with his character and integrity. He wished luck to the rest of the players still left on the campus.

[edit] Week 8

Neil was still defending his decision to gain a bunch of weight last week in order to secure his place in the game. He reminded everybody that this was still a competition and he was going to do anything he could to win. Kae was having a hard time dealing with Neil's deceit. She was ready to cave in and go home. Neil overheard Kae's breakdown. Hollie was feeling extra pressure from the Black team because she knew if her team fell below the yellow line, she would be the chosen one to go home. Amy made a startling confession to Jillian. She told her that Neil had pressured her not lose any weight so an alliance would be formed between Blue and Red teams against the Black team. Bob was still angry over Neil gaining weight on purpose the week before and he made it known. Bob's goal was to get Neil's head back into the game of losing weight. The teams all had to get their minds back into the game because it was time for the challenge. Ali reminded them that the challenge would be testing their strength endurance. Neil and Isabeau were the first ones to let go of their rope and drop into the water. In the end, Nicole, Bryan, Ryan and Bill ended up winning the challenge and Nicole couldn't wait to tell Bob. Their reward was to each be allowed voting privileges at the elimination. Kae was letting her insecurities get the best of her. Bob was trying to be encouraging by letting her know that she was doing a phenomenal job on the campus. Kae confessed that Bob was the only person on the campus that she trusted one hundred percent. It was time for the weigh in and everybody was anticipating Neil's numbers. His strategy worked. Neil lost 33 pounds at the weigh in. Meanwhile, the only other player on his team, Isabeau, failed to lose any weight. That meant Neil and Isabeau's team lost was 33 pounds, equaling a 5.26% total of weight loss. Bryan, Nicole and Ryan wanted their team to stay above the yellow line so they could use their individual votes on other players. As a team, they lost 30 pounds with a 3.48% total of weight loss. Bill, Julie and Amy were anxious to see how their team did in the weigh in. They lost a total of 27 pounds and had a 3.76% of weight loss, putting Bryan, Nicole and Ryan above the yellow line. Hollie, Kae, and David were the last ones to weigh in. They were disappointed with their final numbers. They lost a total of 14 pounds with a 1.97% of total weight loss, putting them below the yellow line. Before the teams revealed who they voted off the campus, Neil made a public apology for throwing the game off track the week before. He promised it would not happen again and he truly felt bad for his actions. It was time for the teams to decide who would be eliminated this week. David sat silently as he saw his name come up more then once. When it was revealed David had three votes, he began to sob, but then talked about how much he missed his family. He told the other players to make him proud.

[edit] Week 9

Ali informed all the teams that it was Green Week and presented them with green Biggest Loser t-shirts. Ali let the teams know that in the spirit of Green Week, they would learn about recycling. Only, they would be recycling their teammates. The teams were about to be converged into duos. Ali showed the players a giant meat lover's pizza paired with a giant soda on the table. The players had to guess the amount of calories. Whoever was closest to the right number of calories got control over who the new duos would be. Nicole was the closest one with her number and that put her in the driver's seat. She was only 13 calories off from the real total number of calories. Nicole chose Neil to be her team member. Neil chose Ryan and Isabeau to be partners and now it was up to that duo to choose the next team. They decided Julie and Bill would represent the next team. Bill and Julie paired up Hollie and Bryan as a team. This made Kae nervous, because she knew she was a threat to the game and wanted to make sure that her and Amy together could stay above the yellow line come weigh-in time. Kae was not happy about getting Amy as a partner. She went on a jog to clear her head and when she returned, Amy was taking a nap on the couch. This didn't make Kae any happier. Kim was nervous for Bryan because he represented the last member of her Red team left on the campus. Meanwhile, Bob was mad that Kae was paired up with Amy and was going to make sure Kae was going to work her hardest to keep from being eliminated. In honor of Green Week, the teams were not going to use any electrical machines. Bob took his team out for a strenuous hike, instead. Meanwhile, Kim and Jillian had their teams work out in the gym, but without electricity. The new duos were forced to look at all the trash they had wasted in the form of pizza boxes, ice cream containers and soda cans. They were shocked to see how much they had consumed in the last year. The duos were ready for their first challenge together. It involved picking up soda cans, climbing a ramp and putting the cans in a giant waste container. The team with the most cans collected won a Ford Escape Hybrid SUV. Each team wanted to win the car. Bill and Julie won the challenge and the SUVs. Julie started crying because this was something that her family so desperately needed. The other teams were so proud of Julie for winning the car as they knew that she deserved it. Kim was trying to coach Bryan into getting more calories added to his diet. He couldn't comprehend how not eating enough could be sabotaging his weight loss. Bryan was feeling the pressure of being the only Red team member left. The last chance workouts had the teams practicing in the gym without any electrical equipment. All the teams were feeling the pain of pushing themselves to the limit. Kae was nervous during the weigh in because she was afraid that Amy didn't pull her share. But, she was happily proven wrong when it was revealed Amy lost nine pounds at the weigh in. Amy and Kae lost a total of 14 pounds and a combined total of 3.32% of weight for the week. Hollie lost a total of six pounds at the weigh in and her team member, Bryan was happy with the results. Bryan got even happier when he discovered he lost 11 pounds at the weigh in. As a duo, they lost a total of 17 pounds with a 3.35% of total weight loss. Nicole was happy to lose six pounds at the weigh in. The news got better when Neil lost a total of 18 pounds, putting the duo ahead in the weigh in. Neil had officially lost over one hundred pounds since arriving to the campus. Together, they lost a total of 24 pounds and had a total 4.18% of weight loss. Ryan and Isabeau celebrated her weight loss of nine pounds. Their joy was short-lived when Ryan lost only six pounds, putting the duo in last place. They lost a total of 15 pounds with a total weight loss percentage of 2.66%.Bill was happy to achieve a major goal of getting below 250 lbs and he did that by losing nine more pounds at the weigh in. Julie kept her and Bill above the yellow line by losing six pounds. Together, Bill and Julie lost a total of 15 pounds and had a total 3.43% of weight loss. Julie felt bad for pushing Isabeau and Ryan below the yellow line. Kim was so relieved to know that Bryan avoided elimination and would be staying on the campus representing the Red team. She was even more happy when she found out Bryan lost a total of 11 pounds. On the other side of the campus, Bob was sad to find out one his team members, Ryan, faced elimination. Meanwhile, Isabeau was telling Jillian she was nervous about going home. The rest of Jillian's team voiced their fears of not being able to trust anybody on the campus. The rest of the players decided to eliminate Ryan from The Biggest Loser. He explained that he knew he was leaving a better person and couldn't wait to be with his wife and daughter. The other players were in tears as they said their good-byes to Ryan. Ryan knew he made some lifelong friendships on the campus.

[edit] Week 10

Ali informed the teams that the game had now shifted and the teams were going to be split up in individuals. Julie was still in shock she had made it this far in the competition. Bob wasn't surprised that Ryan went home. But, he also made it clear that he was disappointed in losing another member of the Blue team. Bob got angry when he found out that Neil had voted for Ryan in the elimination round. Amy wanted some closure since she joined the Black team, so she decided to meet with Kim. Kim was a caught a little off-guard when Amy returned her Red team shirt. Kim gave the shirt back to Amy and said she would always remember Amy as a member of the Red team and somebody who was never a quitter. After Kim accused Amy of giving her a slap in the face by returning the red shirt, Amy put on the black shirt and was greeted with a hug by Jillian. Amy told Jillian that she was a better fit with the Black team. It came time for the teams to face the temptation round with a room full of delicious donuts. Ali informed them that one donut contained a chip worth $5,000, but it was up to them to dig through the piles and piles of donut to find the chip. The thought of winning $5,000 made the teams very happy. But, Ali informed them that there would be a catch. For every time they wanted to play a round to try to find the money, they had eat a whole donut. As each team member agreed to play a round, they passed the donuts around. When it came to Kae, she knew how much the money would mean to her, but she stuck to her guns and refused to play the game. Everybody but Kae ate a donut to gain entrance into the game. When the horn blew, the teams dived into the piles of donuts, searching for the $5,000 chip. Time ran out and nobody found the chip. Meaning, if the teams wanted to gain entrance into round two, it was time to eat another donut. Nicole, Julie, and Kae all stayed out of round three because of a set calorie limit for themselves. Ali told the teams that now they got unlimited time to search for the missing chip inside the donuts. In the end, Bill found the $5,000 chip! It was time for the challenge and the players were shocked with what they had to complete. The players had to complete a 24-kilometer triathlon, with swimming, biking and running. The players were in shock when they found out the winner would get a 24-hour trip home to see their family and they would win immunity for the weigh in. In the end, it was Hollie's strong swimming skills that helped her win the triathlon. Not only did Hollie win immunity and a 24-hour trip home to visit her family, but she won the choice of one other player to get the same reward. Hollie chose Julie, who was in shock. Julie and Hollie were both very excited to go home, but knew they had to stay focused on the game. Hollie visited her best friend, who was also overweight. She had hoped to inspire her with wanting to lose weight. Julie was in tears to see her husband and son. Julie's husband was so impressed with her transformation. While Hollie and Julie were back at home saying their tearful good-byes, Jillian was working her team out to the max. Kim and Bob were doing the same to their teams, as well. It was the last-chance workout. It was time for the weigh in and Julie and Hollie remembered they had to not gain any weight to keep their immunity. Julie was the first to be weighed and was disappointed to see that she maintained at 180. It made her realize how much the campus was important to her. Hollie maintained her weight, as well. Both were allowed to keep their immunity. Most of the players were happy with their numbers at the weigh in. Bryan was feeling extra pressure being the last member of the Red team left. He was hugely disappointed to see he only lost two pounds after all of his hard work. Amy and Bryan fell below the yellow line and faced elimination. Jillian wanted to make sure her Black team would vote to keep Amy on the campus. Isabeau admitted she felt Amy didn't want to be kept on the campus. Kim was an emotional wreck knowing that Bryan might go home. She tried to reassure him that there were a lot of people on the campus that thought he deserved to stay. Meanwhile, Bill was still thinking of voting Amy off because he considered her a threat. In the end, Amy was voted off the campus. She accused the people who voted for her of not being loyal and said that karma would be coming after them. Bryan consoled her as she cried.

[edit] Week 11

Ali presented the players with pictures of how they looked before coming to the campus. Everybody was shocked with how much their bodies had transformed during their stay. Jillian gave a stern warning to Isabeau, since she voted Amy off of the team. She told her that voting off a Black team member meant they'd have to fight even harder for the rest of the team to stay on the campus. Kim went looking for Bryan and instead found the envelope with all of his earlier overweight pictures in it. Her biggest fear was that Bryan got sent home. Then he surprised her and ran into the room to give her a giant hug. The players got to take at trip to the set of Days of our Lives and visit Ali at work. They also got to meet one of her co-stars, Bryan Dattilo. He congratulated all of the players for their success. Ali introduced the players to Liz Vaccariello, Editor-in-Chief of Prevention Magazine. Liz told the players they would be receiving head to toe makeovers and one of them would be chosen to be on the cover of an issue of Prevention Magazine. The players couldn't wait for the makeovers to begin. Ali surprised Days of our Lives fan Nicole with a visit from two more co-stars, Brandon Beemer and Martha Madison. They were so impressed with Nicole's weight loss and listened to her story of transformation. Kristian Alfonso showed up and presented Kae with a piece of her jewelry to wear for the photoshoot. Kae was so flattered that the Days of our Lives star did that for her. After putting the necklace on her, Kristian told Kae to keep up the good work. While the ladies were trying on jewelry and dresses, the guys were trying on new suits. Bryan said trying on the suits was evidence to him that what he was doing on the campus was working. As Bryan was checking out his makeover in the mirror, he was giving the ultimate surprise. His wife Kenisha presented herself from behind the mirror. He greeted her with a giant hug and tears. Julie loved how she looked and was even happier when her husband surprised her from behind the mirror. He couldn't believe how incredible she looked and was so happy to see her. Mike even admitted he was nervous seeing his wife look so amazing. Bill was so happy to see his twin brother, Jim, on the other side of the mirror. Since being eliminated, Jim had lost a total of 93 pounds from home. Bill was so proud of his brother and both felt they were setting out to achieve their goals of getting healthy and losing weight. Isabeau was completely shocked to see her boyfriend on the other side of the mirror. He swept her up in his arms as soon as he saw her. She started crying with joy and he kept telling her how beautiful she looked. Hollie always had a hard time standing in front of the mirror and looking at herself. She felt she still had a way to go before getting the body she wanted. But, her insecurities were all swept away when her best friend, Antoinetta, revealed herself from behind the mirror. For the first time, Neil looked in the mirror and noticed the results of his weight loss. He was overcome with emotion when the mirror lifted and he saw his girlfriend, Stephanie. She was moved to tears when she saw Neil's transformation. Nicole was shocked to see her mom come out from behind the mirror. Nicole gave her mom a big hug and the both of them began to cry with happiness. Her mom was proud of her daughter's determination and hard work. As Kae was in shock with how great her makeover was, her husband was on the other side of the mirror becoming emotional. Just hearing her voice made his eyes fill with tears. When the mirror lifted, Kae was moved just seeing her husband's face. She said it was the happiest day of her life. Kae was also chosen to be Prevention Magazine's new cover girl. All the players enjoyed a meal on the Days of our Lives set with their loved ones. But, Ali reminded them that afterwards, they had to say good-bye and get back to playing the game. The players all gave tearful good-byes. The players returned to the campus and were facing their next challenge. They had to stay suspended in the air, grabbing on to a rope that was lowering as they were climbing. The person who stayed above the yellow line the longest won a $5,000 shopping spree courtesy of Prevention Magazine. Kae ended up winning her first challenge. All the players felt the pressure of the weigh in. Isabeau was nervous that her team would turn on her since she voted off Amy last week. Bryan was still feeling the pressure of being the only Red team member left in the game. At the end of the weigh in, it was Kae and Nicole who were below the yellow line and in danger of elimination. The rest of the players were saddened to know that one of them was going to be sent home. Jillian couldn't help but feel a little cocky in knowing that two of the Blue team members were up for elimination. Neil was especially tired of Jillian walking around with a smirk on her face. He promised Bob he would do all that he could to make sure Jillian didn't have an excuse to be that cocky, again. In the end, Kae was eliminated and informed she was not the biggest loser. She still considered it an honor to be at the campus and said it was a chance of a lifetime. Ali reminded Kae that she had the highest percentage of weight loss in comparison to anybody who has ever played the game. Ali became emotional saying good-bye to Kae.

[edit] Week 12

Alison told the players their fate now laid in the hands of America. They were confused on what that meant, until they found out their next challenge would be chosen by America voting on nbc.com. Bob was taking notice on how much stress had been added to the players now that there were so few of them left on the campus. He reminded his Blue team that this was going to be one their toughest weeks yet. Ever since Jillian lost Amy she wanted to get her team back on top. She was pushing the Black team harder than ever because she wasn't ready to let another one of them go. Kim was still concerned with why Bryan wasn't pulling in high numbers at the weigh-in. She knew he gave it his all in the workouts, but had a hard time with making him eat foods he didn't want to. She also discovered Bryan's salt intake was way too high. The players were happy to see that the challenge that was voted on involved them holding onto a dangling pipe above a pool and seeing who can hold on the longest. Before the challenge began, tennis legend Andre Agassi appeared on a TV screen wishing them luck. He also let the players know the winner would won a trip with their family to his Idaho resort. The challenge began and it proved to be a lot harder than the players thought. Each player had a strategy in terms of how they were going to stay glued to their pole. In the end of the challenge, Bill won! All the other players were getting tired of Bill winning every challenge and found it hard to be happy for him. Later on, Nicole ignored the rules and dived into the pool and chipped her teeth. The other players thought Nicole should have paid better attention to the ‘No Diving' signs. Bob was shocked when he heard about Nicole's chipped teeth. He was more disappointed that she was going to lose crucial workout time because of her visit to the dentist. Nicole returned to the campus with her fake teeth and was just in time for Dr. Huizenga's presentation. He showed each player how their bodies have changed since losing all their weight. The players were shocked with how remarkable their progress had been. Bob was trying his best to get Neil to break during the last chance workout. It wasn't working. Bob wanted to see Neil cry and Neil refused; he just pushed himself harder and harder. Kim was still very concerned with Bryan being voted off the campus. She needed him as much as he needed her. She introduced a game of basketball to Bryan, to show him the fun way in burning calories. Julie was feeling extra pressure because she was now officially the smallest person on the campus. She had to work extra hard to keep up with the bigger players. Meanwhile, Hollie was giving Jillian attitude and Jillian had to confront her. The results of the weigh-in were in. Hollie and Bryan were both below the yellow line, meaning one of them had to go home. When Bryan let Kim know he was up for elimination, she became emotional and wasn't ready to let Bryan go. Bryan's instincts were right. He was voted off the campus. He gave the players tearful hugs and began packing his bags to return home.

[edit] Week 13

Both the Black and Blue teams were in shock that the Red team was completely gone from the ranch. The Black team felt a sense of accomplishment since they originally were the team that nobody wanted. Both teams were surprised when their trainers barged in to wake them up at 6am. They were also shocked to find out that the trainers were entering their teams into the work field, something the teams were not looking forward to. Kim was heartbroken when she walked into an empty room and knew that Bryan had been voted off. She watched a pre-taped video Bryan left for her before leaving the campus. Kim cried as she watched the video of Bryan thanking her for being there for him. Before the teams were about to be introduced to their new jobs, they had to do an intensive workout. Jillian and Bob both believed cardio was the way to go for starting the day out right. The players were shocked to find out they would be working in a pizza parlor. They all considered pizza to be a huge food weakness to them. The players started their shift at the Stone Fire Pizza Company. Julie was surprised with seeing Neil washing dishes. He admitted he was not the best dishwasher. They were not expecting how much work they really had to do. Both teams returned back to the campus and were stunned that they were expected to workout. They went into training mode for the next challenge. Bill was having a hard time boxing, because his knee kept locking up. The challenge involved the players jumping on trampolines while punching raised boxing bags. The player who remained in each round won the challenge and they won a free one-pound pass for the weigh-in. In the end, it was Hollie who won the challenge. She was happy to have that one pound pass since she fell below the yellow line at the last weigh in. After the challenge, Neil and Nicole were resting in the kitchen and Bob walked in. He teased them for not winning another challenge. They made matters worst by telling Bob they were the first two eliminated out of the challenge. Bob was training his team like soldiers because he couldn't afford for one of them to go home. Meanwhile, Jillian was feeling great about her team eventually eliminating the Blue team, like they did with the Red team. It was time for the weigh in and both teams seemed nervous. Hollie knew that she had the one-pound pass, but wondered if that would still keep her above the yellow line. Julie had made it a goal in the beginning to not be found below the yellow line. That wasn't the case this time. With her three-pound weight loss, she was below the yellow ling and up for elimination for the first time. Nicole lost a pound and also found herself below the yellow line. She was disappointed in herself because she felt she worked extra hard that week. She realized she couldn't ask why this happened because she didn't have an answer. When Nicole told Bob about her one-pound weight loss, he wasn't surprised at all. He expected something like this to happen since she always pulled high numbers and knew her body was going to have to take a break. Nicole showed Bob the pants she wore on her first day to the campus. She couldn't even hold them up with her body because they kept sliding off. Nicole realized how much weight she had really lost when she tried on the pants. Nicole was eliminated from The Biggest Loser. Nicole said her good-byes and said her time on the campus was the best time in her life. With Nicole eliminated, Neil faced the extra pressure of being the only Blue team member left on the campus. He knew he had to give it his all if he wanted to be the last remaining biggest loser.

[edit] Week 14

It's Bob's last week in the Blue Team's house, and there's only one contestant left. Neil refuses to rest until he picks off every single member of the Black Team. He's been pacing himself, and now he's ready to sprint to the finish line. Meanwhile, Jillian and the remaining members of the Black Team recall their first day working out in the desert by repeating it. Bob takes Neil back to his first workout, when he was so much weaker than he is now. He's ready for anything; both physically stronger, and mentally stronger on the inside. Ali stands in the desert to welcome the contestants to the Quaker Weight Control Instant Oatmeal Challenge. In their last challenge, the contestants will bury the weight they've lost forever. The contestants will drag a giant scale to 13 pit stops to pick up weights that will add up to the weight they've lost. Then they drag the scale to a giant pit and throw the whole thing inside. When they raise their victory flag, bulldozers will bury the weight forever! Ali points out that Neil hasn't won a single challenge so far, and Bill seems like the one to beat. Having seen similar challenges in past seasons, Isabeau is intimidated. She jokes that maybe she shouldn't have lost so much weight, but she pulls past Bill to win the challenge - and $10,000! When her bulldozer dumps its load, Bill literally eats her dust. Everyone is amazed by when the bulldozers bury their combined total weight lost: 436 pounds. Bob tells Neil that the whole Blue Team is with him on his last chance workout. Isabeau almost breaks down when Jillian challenges her to take it up a notch during a tough workout on the treadmill. Jillian refuses to hear “I can't,” reminding Isabeau that its moments like these that define her life. Isabeau pulls through, earning a hug from Jillian. She admits that Jillian's always right, and it's a little annoying. Ali presides over the final weigh-in on campus. Neil's up first. He started at 421 pounds, and is now 278, losing 10 pounds this week with a total percentage of 3.47%. Hollie lost five pounds this week, with 2.55%. Bill loses nine pounds, taking the lead with 4.23%, so he is safe from elimination. Julie needs to lose more that five pounds to stay above the yellow line. Julie is amazed to learn that she's had her biggest loss ever - eight pounds! 4.76% moves her into first place, placing Hollie below the yellow line, with no chance of rising above. And if Isabeau has lost more than seven pounds, Neil will face elimination as well. Isabeau has lost eight pounds, breaking a show record for most weight lost by a woman with a total loss of 81 pounds. It's hard to believe that Neil has lost ten pounds in a week and is still facing elimination. Bill thinks that Neil is one of the greatest competitors ever. Neil is feels like he let his team down, but Bob reminds him that he's a winner, no matter what. Neil tearfully thanks Bob for giving him his life back. Ali welcomes the contestants to the final elimination. Thinking Neil is his greatest competitor, Bill votes with the utmost respect for Neil. Isabeau can't forget the times people stood up for her, especially Jez, so she votes for Neil, too. Neil's ready to go home and start the next chapter of his life, happy for an incredible run. He hands Bill a sundae and heads for the door. For the first time ever, only one team is represented in the final four. Jillian says goodbye to her team with life-size cut-outs from their first day on the show. Julie, the self-proclaimed weakest link thanks Jillian for believing in her - something no one else has done. Julie whispers in her cut-out's ear that she will be the Biggest Loser. Bill is ready to say good-bye to his old self, someone he didn't like very much, forever. Isabeau came to the show like a child in many ways, and Jillian has helped her to see the kind of woman she really is. She says good-bye as a best friend. Hollie was emotionally shut down when she came to the show. But part of gaining strength is getting back up when you fall. Jillian thinks that by overcoming tough challenges like her mother's recent death, Hollie will go on to make a huge difference in other people's lives. The sun is shining as the final four contestants leave the campus in limousines to finally return home to their family friends. Julie thinks of the experience as a catalyst for the rest of her life. Isabeau wants to win for every woman in America, to prove that they can change their lives. Bill can't wait for his family to see a completely different person.

[edit] Finale

Ali brought out all the eliminated players and the audience was amazed with how great they looked. Each player entered the stage to loud applause and cheers from their loved ones. The cameras followed the finalists as they went home months before the finale. Isabeau was nervous about going home but was moved to tears when she saw the big party that was waiting for her. Her boyfriend John was moved the most by her appearance. He said she seemed like a whole new person walking through the door. Julie was convincing herself that the time on the campus was worth it. She was feeling bad for missing so much of her son's life. She was so excited to see all of her loved ones waiting for her at her home in Florida. She knew right there and then that she was at the campus for a reason. Hollie was so moved by the party waiting for her when she got back home. The cheerleading squad she coaches even presented her with a cheer. She knew she couldn't have made it this far without her friends and family supporting her all the way. Bill walked into his house and said the words, “Daddy's Home” and was greeted with giant hugs from his kids. His kids couldn't believe how much weight their dad had lost. It was time to see which eliminated player had lost the most percentage of weight. Jim took the lead when the scale revealed he lost 186 pounds and had a percentage of weight loss of 51.52% He ended up winning the at-home Biggest Loser contest. The Biggest Loser caught up with Bill to see how he had been doing since returning home. He continued to lose weight and stay in shape and still fought off those late night snacking urges. But, it was nice to work out with his brother, again. Isabeau talked about how ever since she returned home she was still facing the obstacles of working out constantly and eating healthy. She stated that obesity was an illness and she would forever have it. She also questioned if the whole competition was worth all of her anxiety. Julie was facing the struggle of life getting in the way of trying to lose weight. She had to still be a mother and wife and fit in workouts all at the same time. She was lucky to have a husband who encouraged her and even worked out with her at the gym. Hollie decided it was time to move out of her comfort zone and moved back to Los Angeles. She was still scared of gaining the weight back and she felt that hindered her from going out and trying to meet people. Now that the finale was just weeks away, each finalist was secretly hoping the others were sabotaging themselves. That was far from the truth. Each finalist was working their hardest to be the next biggest loser. Now that the finale had arrived, it was time for the finalists to be weighed. Isabeau got on the scale and was happy to see she lost 113 pounds and now weighed 185 pounds. She had a total weight loss percentage of 37.92% It was Hollie's turn to get on the scale and the crowd cheered when it revealed she now weighed 150 pounds. Hollie had lost a total of 105 pounds and had a total weight loss percentage of 41.18%. Julie's family looked on as the scale revealed she lost a total of 97 pounds and had a total percentage weight loss of 44.19% Julie now only weighed 121 pounds. The crowd went wild when it was revealed that Bill lost a total of 164 pounds! He now weighed 170 pounds and had a total weight loss percentage of 49.10% Bill had been crowned this year's Biggest Loser.
