Unmasked is an American radio show hosted by Ron Bennington that features uncensored one on one interviews with comedy legends and established and emerging comedic talents.[2]

Format

Unmasked is an hour-long in-depth interview, focused on the creative process and the lives and work of show's guests.

Unmasked's past guests have included an impressive cross section of people in the business– including Bob Newhart, David Cross, Colin Quinn, Patrice O'Neal, Tracey Ullman, Richard Lewis, Reggie Watts, Dick Cavett, Aziz Ansari, Bill Burr, Joan Rivers, Louis CK, Brian Regan, Jimmy Fallon, and Amy Schumer.[3]

Recording and airing

The show is taped and filmed in front of an audience, usually at the Sirius/XM studios in New York City. When Opie and Anthony were unmasked, the episode was recorded at Carolines on Broadway.[4] Other episodes have been recorded at The Stand,[5] and Gotham Comedy Club.

Studio audience members are picked to attend tapings via a lottery system.

Unmasked airs on Raw Dog Comedy Uncensored, SiriusXM channel 99[6] The show also airs on SiriusXM’s Opie Radio.[7]
