- PathwaysMelbourne (talk · contribs · deleted · filter log · SUL · Google) • (block · soft · promo · cause · bot · hard · spam · vandal) – Violation of the username policy as a promotional username. See the userpage. Johnj1995 (talk) 03:45, 25 September 2024 (UTC)
- Being discussed with the user. They reached out for help, so I'm trying it that way first. 331dot (talk) 06:29, 25 September 2024 (UTC)
- JhelumiKaBaap (talk · contribs · deleted · filter log · SUL · Google) • (block · soft · promo · cause · bot · hard · spam · vandal) – Violation of the username policy as an offensive username. Offesnsive username (based in Urdu). Would be glad to drop an email if ask for more details, seems an attack on Muhammad Ali Mirza. . Regards, Aafi (talk) 07:06, 25 September 2024 (UTC)
- Aafi, no need for emails. Just give a clear explanation right here as to why this is a username violation. I tried Google Translate and it did not indicate anything offensive, but machine translation is not good at slang and idioms. Cullen328 (talk) 08:29, 25 September 2024 (UTC)
- @Cullen328, cool. Jhelumi is a slang often used against Muhammad Ali Mirza, whilst also being an indicative of someone who comes from Jhelum. But in this case, it simply refers as "father of Jhelumi, here referring to Mirza". I hope this makes some sense. Regards, Aafi (talk) 08:32, 25 September 2024 (UTC)
- Senate Committee on Indian Affairs - Hannah (talk · contribs · deleted · filter log · SUL · Google) • (block · soft · promo · cause · bot · hard · spam · vandal) – Violation of the username policy as a misleading username. Username claiming to a member of the U.S. Senate Committee on Indian Affairs. Likely either misleading, or a WP:ROLE account under WP:SOCK if true. R0paire-wiki (talk) 17:02, 25 September 2024 (UTC)
- Not a violation of the username policy. This type of name is specifically called out in the username policy as acceptable. See fourth bullet point under WP:ISU. It's worth keeping an eye on their edits for possible paid editing or conflict of interest editing, but the username itself is fine. --Hammersoft (talk) 18:02, 25 September 2024 (UTC)
- Not a blatant violation of the username policy. It would only be a role account if it said something like "staffer" instead of "Hannah" which indicates a specific person. Senate committees do have staffers as well as members. Cullen328 (talk) 18:04, 25 September 2024 (UTC){{divhide|end}}
