- Insurance Licensing Services of America, Inc. (ILSA) is one of the premier licensing and compliance organizations in the US. ILSA handles individual and corporate licensing with the Department of Insurance in all 51 US jurisdictions, Puerto Rico, Guam, and the US Virgin Islands. They process resident and non-resident initial licensing and renewals for all lines of authority including: Adjuster, Third party administrator (TPA), Managing general agent (MGA), Risk Purchase Group (RPG),and Surplus Lines.
- ILSA is a leading provider of individual and corporate compliance services in the insurance industry; handling corporate qualifications and registration with offices of the Secretary of State, annual returns, corporate tax filings, name changes, Change of address, sanction notifications and surplus lines tax filings.
- ILSA provides its clients free access to its online Licensing Gateway, giving them the ability to check the status of a license 24 hours a day. The database currently holds the licensing data on over 16,000 corporate and 59,000 individual licenses of which over 8,000 are surplus lines.
- ILSA offers its surplus lines clients one centralized location to submit their tax filings for any state (exception MS & TX ). Currently ILSA has succesfully completed over 29,000 filings and over 12,000 reports assisting their clients in reporting over $45,000,000 in taxes to their respective states.

- Insurance Licensing Services of America, Inc. was founded in Houston, TX in 1997 by Arleen and Ted Taveras when they realized the evident need for a single licensing and compliance resource; something automated that could eliminate the guess work. ILSA started out with initial licensing, renewals, and corporate qualifications.
- In early 2000, ILSA relocated to its current location in Groesbeck, TX, a community centrally located between Austin, Houston and Dallas, TX. ILSA continued to grow in both size and expertise; adding a wide range of additional compliance related services which included: continuing education tracking, annual returns, corporate tax filings, address changes, affiliations, appointment requests, sanction notifications and surplus lines tax filings. With this increase in services came the natural increase in need for personnel; from just two employees in 1997 to over 65 in 2009.
- As the need for compliance assistance increases, ILSA continues to expand its services including the recent addition of Insurance Company Licensing and Viatical Settlement Reporting.
