Thanks for letting me know. What is the issue? 82.36.38.56 (talk) 16:15, 4 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Basically the same problems you had when you were editing as 77.97.74.107 (talk · contribs). No one responded to my post at the administrators' noticeboard, however, so you're in the clear for now. Please at least try to watch your formatting (especially with regard to quotation marks and italics for titles of works) if you intend to continue editing. Ok 82.36.38.56 (talk) 17:07, 4 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
At A. M. Burrage‎ you're engaging in much the same sort of unsourced editing that got you into trouble before. In the absence of cited sources for the appearances (or even the existence) of the short stories you listed, you're engaging in original research, which is forbidden on Wikipedia. Please don't add anything to articles that you can't back up with citations. Deor (talk) 17:54, 4 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
A genuine question - if I state where the story was published how is that ? 82.36.38.56 (talk) 17:56, 4 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I have stated where the stories were published. What more can I do to cite this? I can add photographs of the pages if you want but seriously? 82.36.38.56 (talk) 17:58, 4 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Look, it's really quite simple. We can't just take your word that Burrage wrote a story titled "The Lady with the Apples" (for instance) and that such a story was published in the Yellow Magazine in 1923. Unless you can cite one or more sources to establish (1) that the story even exists, (2) that Burrage wrote it, and (3) that it was published where you say it was, those "facts" cannot be stated in a Wikipeia article. Deor (talk) 18:14, 4 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I'll add that in the past you've showed, shall we say, a rather cavalier attitude about the attribution and dating of literary works (see my remarks here and here). I'm therefore not inclined to cut you much slack if you continue to go on in the same way. Deor (talk) 18:32, 4 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
How about the details I’ve added now. Anyone can find them! 82.36.38.56 (talk) 18:35, 4 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
It's not the case that all the items in the list can be confirmed in the Trove database; for instance, the first two ("The Golden Key" and "Working the Oracle") can't, and for "The Key of the Valley" the database confirms only a January 1915 publication in an Adelaide newspaper. It seems to me that you'll have to cite a reference for each item separately, such as this page for "Big Black Bottle". And the "Earlier UK publication not yet confirmed" stuff has to go. If there is an earlier, British publication for some or all of the stories that appeared in Australian publications (as is almost certainly the case), find out what it is and give that information; if you can't find out, it's better to omit the details of the subsequent Australian appearance entirely. You can't expect the reader, or other WP editors, to do all the hard work.
My personal opinion is that Burrage was so enormously prolific that any attempt to list even a representative sample of his short stories is a fool's errand and likely to be of little use to readers. Jack Adrian had some interesting comments on the difficulty of Burrage bibliography, merely with regard to his spook stories, in the introduction to the Ash-Tree Press edition of Warning Whispers (1999).
And please remember that short story titles should be enclosed in double, not single, quotation marks and that titles of newspapers, magazines, and the like should be italicized. Deor (talk) 19:38, 4 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Your idiocy is breathtaking 82.36.38.56 (talk) 23:47, 4 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]

As you no doubt expected would happen, you have been blocked from editing again, because you have continued the same unacceptable editing practices which led to earlier blocks, on this IP address and elsewhere. Since short blocks have failed to make any impact, this block is for significantly longer than previous blocks (or at least longer than previous blocks that I know of).
