April 2015[edit]

Information icon Hello, I'm BranStark. I wanted to let you know that I reverted one of your recent contributions —the one you made with this edit to PM (BBC Radio 4)— because it didn’t appear constructive to me. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. — BranStark (talk) 16:33, 22 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

September 2015[edit]

Hello, I'm I dream of horses. I noticed that you recently removed some content from How to Swim (band)  with this edit, without explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry, the removed content has been restored. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. I dream of horses If you reply here, please ping me by adding {{Ping|I dream of horses}} to your message. (talk to me) (contributions) @ 18:22, 25 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]

December 2016[edit]

Information icon Hello, I'm Materialscientist. I noticed that you made an edit concerning content related to a living (or recently deceased) person on Ferekalsi Debesay , but you didn't support your changes with a citation to a reliable source, so I removed it. Wikipedia has a very strict policy concerning how we write about living people, so please help us keep such articles accurate and clear. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you! Materialscientist (talk) 12:07, 20 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]

January 2017[edit]

Information icon Welcome to Wikipedia, and thank you for your contributions. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, please note that there is a Manual of Style that should be followed to maintain a consistent, encyclopedic appearance. Deviating from this style, as you did in Olive, disturbs uniformity among articles and may cause readability or accessibility problems. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. Materialscientist (talk) 00:03, 5 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Direct quotations[edit]

You recently edited Jewish Autonomous Oblast to change the language of a direct quotation without indicating that you had done so. Specifically, you unilaterally edited the direct quotation "only a very small minority, mostly seniors, speak Yiddish", to replace "seniors" with "senior citizens." That's not okay on Wikipedia (or anywhere else): anything in quotation marks must remain exactly as it is in the source unless changes are clearly indicated with brackets. The appropriate way to make this change (if one truly believes it's worth making in this instance) would have been to alter the quotation to "only a very small minority, mostly [senior citizens], speak Yiddish," but not everyone outside the U.S. understands the American jargon "senior citizens" and "seniors" is more understandable to Wikipedia's worldwide audience. Thanks for your attention to this in the future. - Julietdeltalima (talk) 16:40, 14 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]
