Discussion[edit]

Please dont change anything back on the Radar (Song) Page. what i changed was discussed as appropriate, and before you change you need to show your ideas. please dont change back with discussing first on the discussion page. Thank-You --Morgan3136 (talk) 00:19, 28 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

From our Box set article: "A box set [...] is a compilation of various musical recordings [...] that are contained in a box." The format is the type of media that the music is included on. And in the case of The Singles, that would be the 9 CDs contained in the box. Thus, the format is CD. Also, having "to be released" cover all of the peaks and certifications implies that it will chart and be certified when released (WP:CRYSTAL). Obviously it will, but we must adhere to Wiki policy. –Chase (talk / contribs) 21:18, 31 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Please also see how Pink Box is labeled in Pink discography, another FA-class discog. –Chase (talk / contribs) 21:20, 31 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Born This Way[edit]

Hey Aaa16, I have reverted your addition of the FIMI certification on the above page. The certification corresponded to the single "Born This Way", as you can see from its date, not the album. — Legolas (talk2me) 04:10, 9 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

  • Read again please. Release date: 06-06-2011. These are the certifications only for the ALBUMS.Aaa16 (talk) 12:53, 9 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Shake[edit]

It is called a single by Little Boots. It was played on radio to promote her. It was sold as a vinyl. It's a single. Not just a song.—Ryulong (竜龙) 18:49, 23 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Talk That Talk[edit]

Can you stop with your nonconstructive edits please? I took the cover from Rihanna's official Tweet! So there is no need to change it. It's basically the same. — Tomica (talk) 12:42, 12 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

  • Look at the 'R' logo, and it's in hq! and a cover MUST be at least 300x300px!Aaa16 (talk) 12:44, 12 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]
That's not HQ, rather difference of the logo. I took it from official source - Rihanna Twitter, yours is from Amazon. And its 298x300 (only 2 pixels smaller) that's totally fine with Wiki rules. Stop changing the cover, otherwise you will get blocked. — Tomica (talk) 13:05, 12 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Summertime Sadness[edit]

Please don't accuse me of being crazy. The page was created by a banned editor, and, since there weren't any major edits by other editors, it was deleted. If you wish to create a new page about the song, feel free. There's nothing wrong with the topic, just the way the article was created.—Kww(talk) 18:06, 19 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Stop[edit]

1) That cover you uploaded is for a remix of the song, "Peacock" never had a cover.

2) It was not a promotional single. Having a club remix to a song does not make it a promo single. These edits are unconstructive and can be viewed as vandalism.--(CA)Giacobbe (talk) 19:49, 20 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Read here. It's a promo single. It has a promotional cd single. Promotional recording#Nightclub outlets Aaa16 (talk) 17:10, 22 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]
It fails everything else about being a promo single. It specifically states that it is used before the record is released as promotion, but your source indicates that Peacock was released in May, almost an entire year AFTER the album was released. Secondly, the fact that a DJ remixed it and put it on iTunes DOES NOT mean that it was sent to nightclubs what so ever. Nearly every song on Born This Way was officially remixed, but that in no way shape or form does that make it a promotional single. With no release dates for radio, the fact that it was put on iTunes a year after the album was released, and your only source for it being a promo single is that in your opinion, it was put on iTunes so that DJ's would go specifically searching for it (even though no adds we're sent to such DJ's) to play it at clubs. Do you have any history of Capitol saying "Peacock is released as a promo single?", did Katy say it? Did she tweet about it? Do you have ANY other source to back up your claims? Didn't think so. Don't add it back again. --(CA)Giacobbe (talk) 22:42, 31 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]
I'm gonna rember you that Peacock was numer one on the US Club Charts. You look so close-minded. Do what you want.Aaa16 (talk) 18:56, 2 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Notice

The file File:The Boy Does Nothing (music video screenshot).jpg has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Non-free video screenshot being used in a WP:DECORATIVE manner in Alesha Dixon#2008–2009: The Alesha Show and Strictly Come Dancing judging which fails WP:NFCC#8. There is no sourced critical commentary specifically related to either this screenshot or the "mambo infused" dance routines this screenshot is supposed to represent anywhere in the section where it's being used or anywhere else in the article that requires the reader see this particular screenshot; so, not seeing it won't be detrimental to the reader's understanding of the article in any way per WP:NFC#CS.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated files}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the file's talk page.

Please consider addressing the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated files}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and files for discussion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. -- Marchjuly (talk) 02:01, 24 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
