If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Gloria Ferrer, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Business for more information.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hang on}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion, or "db", tag; if no such tag exists, then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hang-on tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. WuhWuzDat 19:42, 28 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Removing Speedy at Gloria Ferrer[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. It might not have been your intention, but you removed a speedy deletion tag from Gloria Ferrer, a page you have created yourself. If you do not believe the page should be deleted, you can place a {{hangon}} tag on the page, under the existing speedy deletion tag (please do not remove the speedy deletion tag), and make your case on the page's talk page. Administrators will look at your reasoning before deciding what to do with the page. Thank you. - SDPatrolBot (talk) 20:32, 28 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

File source problem with File:GloriaFerrerLogo.jpg[edit]

Thank you for uploading File:GloriaFerrerLogo.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, please add a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a brief restatement of that website's terms of use of its content. However, if the copyright holder is a party unaffiliated from the website's publisher, that copyright should also be acknowledged.

If you have uploaded other files, consider verifying that you have specified sources for those files as well. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged per Wikipedia's criteria for speedy deletion, F4. If the image is copyrighted and non-free, the image will be deleted 48 hours after 21:00, 28 January 2011 (UTC) per speedy deletion criterion F7. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem. If you have any questions or are in need of assistance please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Armbrust Talk Contribs 21:00, 28 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

The logo file has been deleted until all the necessary information can be added to the description page. Thank you--Designforimpact (talk) 21:52, 28 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

New version of Gloria Ferrer article[edit]

Sorry it's taken me so long to get round to answering you query. I have looked at the current version at User:Designforimpact/Gloria Ferrer and and it's certainly much better than the earlier article, and if the new version were nominated for speedy deletion as promotion I would decline the nomination. I am not quite so sure about the references: you may find that someone doesn't think they are enough to establish notability. However, I don't think there is any question of a speedy deletion of the article in its present state, so I suggest that you go ahead and relaunch it as an article. If anyone does object then the issues can be discussed, but my guess is that nobody will. I don't know if you know how to move a page to a new title, but in case you don't: go to the page you want to move, find "Move" in the string of links near the top of the page (you may have to click on a little triangle at the right hand end of those links to get the "Move" one to show), change the contents of the box labelled "To new title:" to say just "Gloria Ferrer", and click on "Move page". By the way, I assume I can now delete User:JamesBWatson/Gloria Ferrer. If I don't hear otherwise from you I shall feel free to do so. JamesBWatson (talk) 20:14, 3 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

No problem, sorry I missed this reply from the 3rd, I was looking on your talk page and forgot to check here. I moved the page so yes, the User review page can be deleted. Thanks again for your help.--Designforimpact (talk) 03:29, 6 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Because we have a policy against usernames that give the impression that the account represents a group, organization or website, your account has been blocked; you are welcome to create a new account with a username that represents only you. You should also read our conflict of interest guideline. If your username doesn't represent a group, organization or website, you may appeal this username block by adding the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}} below this notice. Thank you. - Dank (push to talk) 13:33, 6 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]
