It is completely unfair that this Canadian Rock band should take precedence over us in this entry. The name Black Diamond Bay is actually a Bob Dylan song title so to say they have control over it is a farce. I changed the entry to make a point. They do not own this name. They have sent us threatening emails in the past promising legal action. Action that wasn't pursued because they don't have a controlling interest in the name. If we have to put Black Diamond Bay (UK Band) then they should put Black Diamond Bay (Canadian Band). That is fair and just. I'm just asking for parity here. I changed the page to make a point. I think the point is sound. For you to favour one band over another here flies in the face of the concepts the original song tries to develop. Concepts about human empathy and understanding. The Canadian rock band have already shown a complete disregard for the essence of Bob Dylan's lyrics in threatening to sue us, I hope you don't do the same. Wikipedia is not the place to pursue these disputes. As NawlinWiki says, you can create a page for the UK band (assuming it meets the notability requirements). Then there can be a discussion on if and how pages should be renamed, and disambiguation pages created. There are plenty of examples of organisations and people with the same name, and there are policies and procedures on Wikipedia for differentiating them. But vandalising existing pages is not the way to go about it. Harry the Dog WOOF 14:13, 8 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]
