Navboxes[edit]

The navboxes you're creating are incorrect, if you plan on doing them, make them look like Template:Miami Dolphins roster navbox. Listing the navbox by position doesn't make sense since all the navboxes are for is navigation, NOT for organization.--Giants27 (c|s) 14:49, 16 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Since the navboxes you are currently creating are wrong, I am attempting to fix them. If you would please refrain from creating other navboxes the wrong way, that would be great. Eagles 24/7 (C) 21:14, 17 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Guys, we really shouldn't say they are incorrect. There's no "right" or "wrong" way. There's just the way we've been doing it, and then there's this way. I personally like the old way better.►Chris NelsonHolla! 21:30, 17 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]
I used incorrect mainly because the other one if the accepted or correct version so anything other than that is incorrect since it's unaccepted.--Giants27 (c|s) 21:37, 17 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]
I just wanted to chime in. It is basic civility not to call it "incorrect." I think an established user like yourself understands the tone that wording puts off. He is a new editor and I'm sure when you were new you made good faith mistakes. --Brian Halvorsen (talk) 01:25, 3 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

World Series navboxes[edit]

Hi. When editing navboxes, please do not delete the noinclude & /noinclude scripts at the end of the template, as they are necessary to avoid placing articles in incorrect categories. When you delete the script, all of the articles where a navboxes (mainly players) is used are placed in catagories such as Category:World Series championship templates. Thank you. - Masonpatriot (talk) 14:43, 23 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Template:Chicago Blackhawks roster navbox has been nominated for deletion. You are invited to comment on the discussion at the template's entry on the Templates for discussion page. Thank you.

Notwithstanding what other projects do, we've repeatedly rejected such templates within the hockey project. Nothing personal. Resolute 03:43, 28 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Template:Chicago White Sox 1st round[edit]

Hello Draft fan22, I was wishing to discuss Template:Chicago White Sox 1st round. The way it has worked in the past is that the template needs to be supported by an accompanied page (ie, List of Chicago White Sox first-round draft picks). The template is currently up for deletion here if you would like to participate in the discussion. I just wanted to give you the heads up. --Brian Halvorsen (talk) 01:18, 3 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]
