The article Hope House has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Fails WP:ORG. The name is a common one, and used for charities in numerous cities.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}} will stop the Proposed Deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The Speedy Deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and Articles for Deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. RayTalk 16:07, 30 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Hope House (Memphis, Tennessee) article: citation needed[edit]

I have re-inserted the "citation needed" tag. I do not doubt that this is true, however on Wikipedia we need sources for information using what Wikipedia considers reliable sources - and I'm afraid an employee (former or present) doesn't meet up to what is expected!

There are two ways in which this information could be referenced so that the "citation needed" tag can be removed:

  1. If there is mention on the official website stating this information, that could be used
  2. If there is mention on another reliable site (for example, news coverage which mentions this), this could be used.

I did look for sources to confirm this information, but none of the sources which I found mentioned this - as you will see, I did find sources confirming most of the information in the article, as well as a general tidy up! I knew nothing about this organisation (I'm in the UK, with no connections with Memphis!), but I can find online information, and tidy up an article (I also added the logo under Wikipedia's Fair Use criteria).

It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve.
