Martin Brundle[edit]

Hi. You added:

"Smart, witty and with an exceptionally good command of the English language, Martin has carried F1-ITV's race coverage commentary almost single-handedly since Murray Walker's retirement in 2001."

I agree with you, Brundle is brilliant and James Allen, eh.. isn't. Still, it's a Point of View and not really appropriate. I take it your a Brundle fan? You've got to love the grid-walks? If you haven't done so before search the web for Brundle quotes — they're hilarious. Mark83 21:05, 4 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Talk page edit[edit]

Thanks for your message. Go ahead, however just because a person has video footage doesn't mean they have no POV. I'll assume you're British and say suppose someone shows a random person footage of Gordon Brown. If that person voted Labour they will likely be sympathetic, if they voted Tory they will likely be hostile. Likewise in the U.S. The same footage of Bush could be used by a Democrat to show him as an idiot and by a Republican to show him as a great campaigner.

I've shown above that I'm a big fan of Brundle, that doesn't mean I'm willing to see POV attacks on Allen.

Juliet Aubrey[edit]

The article Juliet Aubrey has been or soon will be deleted from Wikipedia. This happened because the article seems to be about a subject but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable. If you can indicate why the subject is really notable, you are free to re-create the article, making sure to cite any verifiable sources. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. You might also want to read our criteria for speedy deletion, particularly item 7 under Articles. -- Merope 15:11, 28 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Yeah, that all sounds good. The problem is that you can't just say "so-and-so is an actress" because that alone doesn't establish notability. Emma Thompson is an actress, but so is the seventeen year old who was almost an extra on The O.C.. You just need to give a little more information. Feel free to recreate the article. -- Merope 15:27, 28 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Accessing my account[edit]

Hi, I'm Eddos 1983. I set this account up back in 2006 and last logged in on it about 4 years ago. I've forgotten the password in that time and I can't get it reset by email because the email I used back then has been deactivated now. I know I could just start another account, but considering I already have one it makes more sense to me to resurrect it rather than starting over with a new one. I PROMISE I AM who I say I am and I'm not an impostor trying to hack the account. Is there any way I can get the password changed or email changed for this account so I can access it again? Could someone please refer this edit to an Administrator? I don't know how often obscure pages like this one are checked on Wiki when more important stuff is going on, but if someone who knows could get back to me soon-ish it would be much appreciated. I'll check this page regularly in the near future now that I've typed this. {{helpme}} Thanks :)

The standard advice on this is at Help:Logging in#What if I forget the password?, and I'm afraid I don't know of any way round that. You will have to register a new account. -- John of Reading (talk) 21:44, 26 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
