No problem. I will leave it to you. FYI, My attention was drawn to this link by a social media user bragging about the changes he was making to this entry and linking to it. Struck me as a clear violation. The same user also said he made a Tumblr blog for the purpose of trolling. I don't know how to check it, but my guess is he suddenly became an "editor" of Wikipedia today, which is why I was countering his insufficiently sourced material. Thanks for doing your job well.

If you can provide some links to that, that will help. Alternatively you can email me here if you wish. §FreeRangeFrogcroak 19:55, 14 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Sure. This is the guy's Twitter account. You can see that he has spent all day tweeting hearsay left in a blog's comments by an ex. He also pointed people to Wikipedia on Twitter and Facebook. https://twitter.com/twbtwb

As you can see the edits he made to Wikipedia happened just before he announced it. https://twitter.com/twbtwb/status/555428494382231552

Here is the Tumblr: http://twilsonb.tumblr.com/

Good luck.

The blog is here [1], but the post in question is neutral [2], unless Edit Fact is referring to private social media which they cannot link here. 121.45.218.89 (talk) 20:36, 14 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]
I wasn't aware that blogs weren't considered reliable sources at the time, and neither was I aware of the BLP policy on negative statements. However, I did try to limit what I and others might to do negative, factual statements. I may have failed at this. I am trying to do better now. 121.45.218.89 (talk) 20:36, 14 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]
I will however clarify that I haven't edited wikipedia for a few years, and so I am quite rusty. I am not even sure what my account name was or what the password is, but I could try and find it. I do note, however, that EditFact is new today. Welcome to wikipedia! 121.45.218.89 (talk) 20:36, 14 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]
And I won't debate whether the blog is trolling or informative. It's really quite off-topic, and it's an outside of wikipedia issue. That's a matter for each person's judgement. I'm still quite capable of providing well-sourced information regardless of my off-wiki activities. 121.45.218.89 (talk) 20:36, 14 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Statement on Tony Jones (theologian)'s Court Case duration from Court Documents[edit]

I think I've come up with a factual statement based on reliable sources (court documents). I'd like to get consensus before proposing an edit. What do you think of the edit at the end of Talk:Tony_Jones_(theologian)#Statement_on_Court_Case_duration_from_Court_Documents?

Apologies, I was wrong, not allowed to use primary sources for BLP. 121.45.218.89 (talk) 20:57, 14 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Using self-published works for information about the author Talk:Tony_Jones_(theologian)#Tony_Jones.27_Self-Published_Work_-_List[edit]

Per Wikipedia:Verifiability#Self-published_and_questionable_sources_as_sources_on_themselves, I'd like to use the blog posts on the talk page, and perhaps other posts of Tony's, for information about himself. 121.45.218.89 (talk) 20:57, 14 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Restoring important biographical information that was dropped from Tony_Jones_(theologian) this morning[edit]

Please see my suggested edit at Talk:Tony_Jones_(theologian)#Requested_Edit:_Tony_Jones_has_three_children. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 121.45.218.89 (talk) 00:55, 15 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]
