Thank you for the suggestion. I don't think I will be active enough (except sporadically) to have much use for an adopter, but I will definitely take a look at the "editor review" and "editor assistance" options mentioned on that page. If you have any tips or suggestions for me right now though, I would be interested to hear them. Frostlion 08:38, 1 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

First might be to read WP:TALK to get a sense of how the community communicates on talk pages - spacing of comments for instance :) If you're not going for direct adoption, if you do have a question feel free to ask me as I'm on wikipedia 3-4 times a day minimum. It's a disease. The only other recommendation I can make is to read the policies (ie. WP:5P, WP:OR) and WP:MOS pages. WLU 13:41, 1 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

That sounds like a good start to be sure. I'll be checking those links out and I'll let you know if I get stuck on anything. Thank you again for the offer of help, I'll be sure to put it to good use when needed. Frostlion 17:21, 1 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
