Hello
[edit]I see that you are new. I would recommend reading as many articles as possible and also reading the articles up on images and the style guide before making any more articles. Thanks. --Woohookitty(cat scratches) 11:45, 30 March 2006 (UTC)
Amir Singh Sarao
[edit]Please, disregard my previous message (if you have read it already!). I made a quite stupid mistake reading the history of this page, and I had deleted it. I later realized the mistake and undeleted it. The problem seems that this article still leave most people with the doubt as whether its subject meets WP:BIO. This could be established by telling the circulation of "punjabi bhasha" (how many readers does it have?) - Liberatore(T) 16:05, 30 March 2006 (UTC)
Some of the people, places or things you have written about in the article Amir Singh Sarao may not be sufficiently well-known to merit articles of their own. The Wikipedia community welcomes newcomers, and encourages them to become Wikipedians. On Wikipedia, each user is entitled to a user page in which they can describe themselves, and this article's content may be incorporated into that page. However, to merit inclusion in the encyclopedia proper, a subject must be notable. We encourage you to write or improve articles on notable subjects. --Irishpunktom\talk 15:56, 12 April 2006 (UTC)

Edits to Donald Rumsfeld

Landmark Education
[edit]I removed these (again) because they violate several of Wikipedia's policies, most especially the NPOV and citation of sources.
Judging from these edits and others you have made on other topics, you don't seem to have grasped the nature of Wikipedia - it is not a discussion board for posting up your personal opinions and observations. The statements should be in the realm of facts, not opinions or value judgements, and the published sources where these facts can be verified should be provided.
Furthermore, several of the points you inserted are already discussed elsewhere in the article. DaveApter 11:44, 11 May 2006 (UTC)
- Dave: What do you mean by references. I have attended their courses. They even talk about changing dictionary meaning of the words. If people have had bad experiences with them, is not that enough to be mentioned? Seems like you profit from landmark educations 50m annual revenue. The eagle 19:19, 11 May 2006 (UTC)
I presume that the above comments posted onto my user page were by you? (If so, why did you sign them 'the eagle' rather than your user name?) If you want to post messages to me, please do so on the user talk page in future, rather than my user page.
In answer to your question - please just take a little time to read the Wikipedia policies and guidelines. It is all in there. Content added to Wikipedia should be backed up by publicly available information from 'notable sources'. This is not a place for recounting the personal experiences of individuals, or the conclusions they have drawn from them.
As regards your remark "Seems like you profit from landmark educations 50m annual revenue" - this is simply absurd. I am just a customer who is satisfied with the results I got from doing several of their courses. As you would know if you did any research, actually no-one "profits" from Landmark's revenues: They are all used (a) to deliver the courses, (b) to pay the overheads, and (c) to expand the business. The shares are all owned by the employees, and they don't distribute dividends.
I'm sorry if you personally had a bad experience. I'm aware that some people do, but in my experience it is a tiny minority.
Also please read the discussion page on Landmark Education before doing any more edits to the article. A lot of what you express is already discussed there at considerable length.DaveApter 12:58, 13 May 2006 (UTC)
Girdawari
[edit]A proposed deletion template has been added to the article Girdawari, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}}
notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page. Also, please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. If you agree with the deletion of the article, and you are the only person who has made substantial edits to the page, please add {{db-author}} to the top of Girdawari. Speedy deletion nomination of Gainskeeper
[edit]A tag has been placed on Gainskeeper, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read the guidelines on spam as well as Wikipedia:FAQ/Business for more information. You may also wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles - see the Article Wizard.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}}
to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. Speedy deletion nomination of Hospital price list
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Hospital price list requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, contest the deletion by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". Doing so will take you to the talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. Night of the Big Wind talk 09:00, 7 October 2011 (UTC)
