Disambiguation link notification for April 12[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Ubaydah ibn al-Harith, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Companion (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 12:04, 12 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Please provide edit summaries[edit]

Information icon Hello. Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia.

When editing Wikipedia, there is a field labeled "Edit summary" below the main edit box. It looks like this:

Edit summary (Briefly describe your changes)

Please be sure to provide a summary of every edit you make, even if you write only the briefest of summaries. The summaries are very helpful to people browsing an article's history.

Edit summary content is visible in:

Please use the edit summary to explain your reasoning for the edit, or a summary of what the edit changes. With a Wikipedia account you can give yourself a reminder to add an edit summary by setting Preferences → Editing → check Prompt me when entering a blank edit summary. Thanks! - DVdm (talk) 20:12, 19 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Edits at Khalid ibn al-Walid[edit]

Please see the reasoning for the removal of the calligraphic decoration from the Khalid ibn al-Walid article at the talk page and discuss before continuing to reinsert it in the infobox. Thank you. --Al Ameer (talk) 20:18, 27 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Following the above courtesy, you have reinserted the calligraphy twice already without discussion here or at the article's talk page or even in the edit summaries. Please refrain from continuing these disruptive edits. Beside the fact that they will continue to be reverted, edit warring could result in a user being blocked from editing for increasing intervals of time. Hilāl ibn `Ullafah moved to draftspace[edit]

An article you recently created, Hilāl ibn `Ullafah, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. ... discospinster talk 01:29, 20 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Ma'bad ibn Abbas requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a real person or group of people that does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator.
