3RR on Madai[edit]

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Madai. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.

Please be particularly aware, Wikipedia's policy on edit warring states:

  1. Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made; that is to say, editors are not automatically "entitled" to three reverts.
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes; work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. Til Eulenspiegel /talk/ 01:21, 5 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Ok Indian brother, but you are also engaged in edit-war. Iranzamin-Iranzamin (talk) 01:24, 5 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

You reverted my edits 3 times today. It is the same score. And also I tried to reach a consensus in talk page for 5 hours! Iranzamin-Iranzamin (talk) 01:25, 5 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

You mean Indian as in from India? I have no idea why you think that, but no, I'm not. Not that it would matter what my race is as an editor here. My personal view of the theory being debated (Mitanni = Madai) is actually irrelevant too, as yours should be as well. I want all the suggestions made by scholars to be included out of a sense of impartiality. We can't say "these people are less likely to be descendants of Madai than those people so we can't mention that theory" on the strength of our own wisdom or knowledge, after all many modern secular scholars would dispute that anyone is descended from Madai the grandson of Noah or that any of it is historical.

Indian means belonging to the Indid race(Pakistani, Roma, etc) not only means from India. I thought that because you are trying to represent Indians as Japhetic, Iranid and so on. I've talked you on talk page enough and as I said, I am not going to discuss you again because you are subjective. Iranzamin-Iranzamin (talk) 01:48, 5 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

And also you tried to delete the Hebrew map just because these words: Madai(Medians). Iranzamin-Iranzamin (talk) 02:04, 5 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Actually, I never once said Indians are Japhetic, or anything of the kind. All I have stated, no more, no less, was that some scholars believe the Indo-Aryan Mitanni may have been connected with Madai. So you get a wrong premise leading to a wrong conclusion. I am not a member of that race, can you tell me why it would matter what race I belong to? Til Eulenspiegel /talk/ 01:55, 5 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Because you are not objective. Yes, you didn't say that Indians are Japhetics but you tried to implicate it on tlk page. Iranzamin-Iranzamin (talk) 01:58, 5 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

No, I certainly never implicated any such thing about Indians nor Japhetics nor did I mention either of those terms so you just may be getting carried away with your assumptions! Til Eulenspiegel /talk/ 02:10, 5 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]
The "3RR rule" means if you revert an edit more than 3 times within 24 hours, you can be blocked. I have not reverted you four times, but you are already at three reverts within the past 24 hours, so I'm just giving you a warning. Til Eulenspiegel /talk/ 01:37, 5 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I fixed it. You reverted my edits 3 times, not lesser than mine. And also I tried to reach a consensus on talk page for hours! You are make it a honour-problem for you and I feel HARASSED. Iranzamin-Iranzamin (talk) 01:43, 5 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Notice of Edit warring noticeboard discussion[edit]

Information icon Hello. This message is being sent to inform you that there is currently a discussion involving you at Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Edit warring regarding a possible violation of Wikipedia's policy on edit warring. Thank you. Til Eulenspiegel /talk/ 02:10, 5 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Personal attacks on Madai (edit summary and talkpage)[edit]

Information icon Please do not attack other editors, as you did on Madai. Comment on content, not on contributors. Personal attacks damage the community and deter users. Please stay cool and keep this in mind while editing. Thank you. Til Eulenspiegel /talk/ 13:55, 7 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

3 RR warning in Madai (again)[edit]

Stop icon

Your recent editing history at Madai shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war. Being involved in an edit war can result in your being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly.

To avoid being blocked, instead of reverting please consider using the article's talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. See BRD for how this is done. You can post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.
