Welcome!

Hello, Jäger, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are a few good links for newcomers:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Where to ask a question, ask me on my talk page, or place {{helpme}} on your talk page and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions. Again, welcome!  NickelShoe 01:38, 5 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Aerial warfare and killed civilians in world war 2 has been proposed for deletion. An editor felt this was more of an essay than an encyclopedia article. Please review WP:OR for the relevant guidelines. Improve the article to address these concerns if possible, citing sources. You might have better luck simply contributing to our pre-existing articles about World War II. Check out the entire list of them at Category:World War II.

If no one objects to the deletion within five days by removing the prod notice, the article may be deleted without further discussion. NickelShoe 01:38, 5 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I've re-tagged the article for deletion, as it appears you have re-created it. You are very welcome to contribute to Wikipedia, however there are certain limits on what is allowed to stay. Feel free to ask me for further advice on my talk page. Thanks, Petros471 17:04, 2 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Image tagging for Image:Johann Georg Estor 1757.Jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Johann Georg Estor 1757.Jpg. You don't seem to have said where the image came from or who created it. We requires this information to verify that the image is legally usable on Wikipedia, and because most image licenses require giving credit to the image's creator.

To add this information, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the information to the image's description. If you need help, post your question on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 15:07, 25 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Joseph Stalin[edit]

Please stop adding unsourced nonsense to Wikipedia, like you did here. Stalin was a Marxist and obviously wouldn't support a fascist in Germany. Dzhugashvili (talk) 16:00, 28 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

World War II[edit]

Please stop adding this material to the World War II article. When you raised the inclusion of the material on the article's talk page no other editors supported including it. You are very welcome to re-open this discussion, but stop edit warring by reinserting it against the views of other editors. Thanks, Nick-D (talk) 07:01, 16 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop ignoring the views of other editors. If you continue adding material like this when there is no support to include it on the article's talk page you may be blocked for disruptive editing. Nick-D (talk) 10:39, 18 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

ANI Notification[edit]

Hello, Jäger. This message is being sent to inform you that there currently is a discussion at Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents regarding an issue with which you may have been involved. Thank you.. Please focus on the content, not the editors[edit]

Here, you have posted an assumption about an editor. While we, as humans, often make generalized assumptions about one another, one must avoid placing those assumptions in Wikipedia, whether in article, edit summaries, talk pages, or anywhere else.

Please focus on the content, not the editors: not their motivations, not their nation, not at all. Some might find being called a "Pole" amusing, or pleasing, or offensive, and it should be avoided. - Sinneed (talk) 02:07, 14 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

On my talk page, you wrote[edit]

Dear Mr. Sinneed, Thank Your for Your message! I agree with You that my remark was not very polite. But this man has blamed me indirectly to be a nazi. And this is also not very polite. He also undid my revision of this article which existed for about half a year and contained nothing more than what Rauschning had written in his book. Furthermore he made restitution impossible through conflicting editions. Could You be so kind to tell me what I can do now? Thank You! user:Jäger 22:40, 14 September 2009 (CET)

And, please, just Sinneed. :) No need for any wp:honorifics, although I appreciate the thought.
Please feel free to answer here, if you wish, as I will watch your talk page for some time in case you want to talk more.
I am sorry I have no great wisdom to offer, and hope this helps. - Sinneed (talk) 21:41, 14 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I did NOT "indirectly call you a nazi". I said you were trying to insert Nazi propaganda sources into the article. Which you were. Rauschning was a Nazi and he wrote the book while he was a Nazi, full of Nazi POV (yes, I realize that later he broke with National Socialism - but this was after the book you were trying to insert was written, and even then, his past alone would disqualify this kind of thing from being a reliable source in most contexts). Yes, I undid your revision of this article - because it contained Nazi propaganda (I'm actually amazed that it was allowed to stay there for half a year). Yes, I made other changes to the article.radek (talk) 23:30, 14 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for File:Bunich 1.JPG[edit]

Thanks for uploading or contributing to File:Bunich 1.JPG. I notice the file page specifies that the file is being used under fair use but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia constitutes fair use. Please go to the file description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Skier Dude (talk 04:00, 13 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned non-free image File:Bunich 2.JPG[edit]

⚠

Thanks for uploading File:Bunich 2.JPG. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of "file" pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Courcelles 04:42, 9 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Image copyright problem with File:Bunich1.JPG[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Bunich1.JPG. You've indicated that the image is being used under a claim of fair use, but you have not provided an adequate explanation for why it meets Wikipedia's requirements for such images. In particular, for each page the image is used on, the image must have an explanation linking to that page which explains why it needs to be used on that page. Can you please check

  • That there is a non-free use rationale on the image's description page for each article the image is used in.
  • That every article it is used on is linked to from its description page.

This is an automated notice by FairuseBot. For assistance on the image use policy, see Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. --FairuseBot (talk) 07:41, 11 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

As far as I know the picture of a boook´s cover in low resolution - and this is the case here - can be used on wikipedia. I have already submitted a "fair use Rationale" on the file-page.Jäger (talk) 01:31, 12 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Image source problem with File:St.Hubertus Painting.JPG[edit]

Image Copyright problem
Image Copyright problem

Thank you for uploading File:St.Hubertus Painting.JPG.

This image is a derivative work, containing an "image within an image". Examples of such images would include a photograph of a sculpture, a scan of a magazine cover, or a screenshot of a computer game or movie. In each of these cases, the rights of the creator of the original image must be considered, as well as those of the creator of the derivative work.

While the description page states who made this derivative work, it currently doesn't specify who created the original work, so the overall copyright status is unclear. If you did not create the original work depicted in this image, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright.

If you have uploaded other derivative works, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 22:49, 10 March 2012 (UTC). If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Stefan2 (talk) 22:49, 10 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]
