If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Bandabardò requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a band or musician, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hang on}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion, or "db", tag; if no such tag exists, then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hang-on tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. Safiel (talk) 05:49, 4 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Rescued, for what it's worth. :D (I've never listened to Bandabardò, but it's rare that something gets nominated for speedy that I've actually heard of, so I had to save it and find some references. I'm a major Ramblers fan.) Roscelese (talkcontribs) 06:10, 4 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]
That said, you should definitely read the guidelines linked above about how to create your first article and make sure it's notable and properly referenced. It would be sad if articles on cool things disappeared because the editors didn't put in the work to find references. Roscelese (talkcontribs) 06:11, 4 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Hey thanks a bunch guys, I'll definitely take your advice in the future. I just discovered the band and went to look it up on Wikipedia and noticed there wasn't an article.

Also I tried checking out the Ramblers but it's a charity so maybe you could make one about the band (I'm guessing you're talking about a band)

Jasonberger (talk) 00:01, 12 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry, I forgot I'd left a comment here. "Ramblers" = Modena City Ramblers, a band that plays a similar style of music. Roscelese (talkcontribs) 07:29, 4 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Dennis To requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, contest the deletion by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion," which appears inside of the speedy deletion ({{db-...}}) tag (if no such tag exists, the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate). Doing so will take you to the talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Whittaker Memorial Cemetery, and it appears to include material copied directly from http://www.9key.com/markers/marker_detail.asp?atlas_number=5067009835.

It is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article. The article will be reviewed to determine if there are any copyright issues.

If substantial content is duplicated and it is not public domain or available under a compatible license, it will be deleted. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material. You may use such publications as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. See our copyright policy for further details. I'm not sure how it works with a passage taken verbatim from a historical marker, but I think it should be alright. I'm also not sure if a person will read this or if I'm just typing to myself. Jasonberger (talk) 05:22, 29 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I read the page and in particular I took a look at this long quote, and I have trimmed it down because the quote may be a possible copyright violation. Even though you cited it correctly, and that is a good thing, because it helps the verifiability of the article, you can't copy a large amount of content and paste it onto Wikipedia, whether quoted or not, because Wikipedia does not own copyright. If you have written that text on a website where you own the copyright of that site, please see Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. If you haven't and would like to use all of the text from that website, then you may take a look at WP:Requesting copyright permission. Thank you, and I hope my advice has helped you here. Speedy Delete[edit]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Cazal eyewear requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person, organization (band, club, company, etc.), web content or organised event, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator.
