Country Data Templates

Hello. I think you might have inadvertently broken {{Country_data_Prussia}} and {{Country_data_Austrian Empire}} with your recent edits. "{{flagicon|Prussia}} Text" should display as:

Text

but instead it's displaying as:

Text

The templates are protected so I can't fool around with them, but if you could try fixing them that would be great. Thanks. Bringing It All Back Home (talk) 00:54, 1 January 2009 (UTC)

Flagged Revs

Hi,

I noticed you voted oppose in the flag revs straw pole and would like to ask if you would mind adding User:Promethean/No to your user or talk page to make your position clear to people who visit your page :) - Thanks to Neurolysis for the template   «l| Ψrometheăn ™|l»  (talk) 06:53, 8 January 2009 (UTC)

Thank you for the suggestion. I'm not going to add the banner to my userspace but instead let my vote talk for itself. I do not think linking people to the oppose section who have no opinion about or know nothing about flagged revs is the right way to go about things. Thanks anyway! Malinaccier P. Consep - speedy deletion recovery

Hello,

I believe that you are the person who can recover deleted articles?.... An article I made/edited 'Consep' has been deleted, and I would like to put it back.

The organisation is relevant and, consistent with wiki guidelines, deserves a page (thought this may need some editing, to make it more wiki-friendly_).

Your help would be appreciated.

Thank you, —Preceding unsigned comment added by Masterthomas (talkcontribs) 14:52, 13 January 2009 (UTC)

I've looked at the article in question and I do not see how it establishes notability. I would contact User:SoWhy for more information as he is the deleting administrator. Thank you! Malinaccier (talk) 17:54, 16 January 2009 (UTC)

Thank you Malinaccier for voting in my successfully closed RfA! I'm glad that you trust me. Ping me if you need anything! Best regards, --Kanonkas :  Talk  18:25, 17 January 2009 (UTC)

Hey

I've gone active again, though I really don't know at this point if I will stay active or not.

I do know that to become productive again, I needed that 4-month break, so coming back fresh after that period should really set me on the right foot.

I might consider adminship sometime in the distant future. There's a lot I'll have to work on between now and then. But as far as coaching goes, there's really nothing to be done except feedback every now and then on editing.

The main reason I went inactive is because I finally succeeded in bringing Civil Air Patrol to GA, and I felt that there was not a whole lot left to do. —  scetoaux (T|C) 22:26, 17 January 2009 (UTC)

RfA thanks

Thank you for voting in my RfA, which passed with 80 support, 2 oppose, and 1 neutral. I appreciate all the comments I received and will endeavor to justify the trust the community has placed in me. R'n'B (call me Russ) 21:42, 24 January 2009 (UTC)

I have removed this from the the list of GA nominations as it appears you did not follow instructions so I'm unclear if it was intentionally added, unintentionally, added and withdraw or what. If you want it reviewed, please resubmit it and follow all the nomination instructions.じんない 03:33, 25 January 2009 (UTC)

Admin Coaching

Malinaccier, could you please coach me? I've over 3000 edits, 150 deleted edits, 90 reports at AIV, several DYK's, and 7-8 image uploads. Thanks for your time. Cheers. Imperat§ r(Talk) 12:05, 29 January 2009 (UTC)

That's all right, I'll wait. During the duration, I could probably get a few more DYK's/AIV's....Thanks a ton. Cheers. Imperat§ r(Talk) 13:53, 30 January 2009 (UTC)
Alas, I have decided to try out for KnightLago. If you want, you can still co-coach me. I look forward to having more discussions with you in the future! :-) Cheers. Imperat§ r(Talk) 13:02, 4 February 2009 (UTC)

Sock editing at Scottish Knights Templar

Hello Malinaccier. There has been a report open at WP:Sockpuppet investigations#Steve Zissou that mentions Scottish Knights Templar. My proposed action for closing the SPI case is to semiprotect that article (and a couple of others) for six months. I see you've already protected the article, so how do you feel if I extend it to six months? There is spamming of scottishknightstemplar.org by IPs in the 86.* range. A rangeblock does not seem practical. The revert warring by IPs over which external links should be included has gone on more than two years; one assumes that this is by partisans (or operators) of the respective historical web sites. Maybe there is a spell in the Da Vinci Code to stop all these guys.. EdJohnston (talk) 18:20, 31 January 2009 (UTC)
