Your recent edits[edit]

Hello! Thank you for your contributions to the MMA project on Wikipedia. You should probably read the project page at WP:MMA closely so that you can follow the style requirements as agreed upon by consensus of the members of the MMA project on Wikipedia. Also, I couldn't help but notice that you are adding links to awakeningfighters.com to all the women MMA fighters' articles. While I do not believe you are doing this maliciously you are spamming (please read WP:Linkspam). I have started up a discussion at the MMA project talk page to see if the community thinks these links are of sufficient value that adding them should be part of the style guide for MMA articles. Please add your voice to that discussion so that a consensus can be achieved. You should also read about conflicts of interest which, if you are associated with that website, can be a problem as well. If you have any questions or comments for me you can reach me on my talk page. Otherwise I hope to see you at WT:MMA. Thanks. SQGibbon (talk) 03:29, 27 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Hi - I added the tags to the article - there is no rush to address the issue they are mainly informational. That said articles, especially biographical, should have a number (exact number is debatable) of references from reliable third party sources (this means newspapers, etc). The biggest issue right now is that the references at present are basically from one source and essentially even though they are divided, the same article. If you do find some good references just add them in the same way the others were added. If you add in the first one or two - I will make sure the formatting is correct. Two other points - there is no need to have a dozen entries of the same reference - they should be more strategically placed. Also it would be good to also adress the orphan problem - I will help there too but the easiest way is to search for her in Wikipedia and make sure the wikilinks are in place.Peter Rehse (talk) 15:09, 10 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for the advice, it's a massive help, I'll get on it! I have fixed the orphan issue also. Thanks again (Marajade75 (talk) 18:15, 12 September 2014 (UTC))[reply]

Thank you[edit]

I think the improvements you made to many of women's boxers and women's combat articles are brilliant. I will do my best to help by adding more verifable links for articles. I feel many of the female boxers and kickboxers need massive improvement as I feel they are often neglected. Dwanyewest (talk) 01:43, 11 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks a lot Dwayne, there's still so much to do, I love it! Thanks again (Marajade75 (talk) 20:45, 17 February 2016 (UTC))[reply]

I also feel that many of the combat articles need thier full fight records on display especially the female boxers what do you think? Dwanyewest (talk) 10:07, 18 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Oh I definately agree with that! It's something I plan to help out with in the future. My plan is to go through all of the female fighters and make sure they have infoboxes, and standardize formatting. I then want to go back through and add fight records. I think this strategy will allow me to cover more pages over a shorter period. In short, I will definitely be adding fight records in the future - and I'm looking forward to it! I'm now addicted! Disambiguation link notification for February 26[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Ruqsana Begum, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page IFMA. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.
