Thanks for creating this extensive article. A quick look at the footnote layout suggests that you might find a short separate sources section and then cross-referencing using {{harvnb}} for multiply referenced key sources helpful. The convention is to avoid "ibid" in footnotes due to the likelihood of the text being reformatted at some point, see WP:IBID. -- (talk) 09:57, 22 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Great job! We definitely need new users who are Bold enough to start new topics on abstract concepts. However, not all of the content in Philosophy of happiness complies with our approach to build an encyclopedia of all human knowledge. Unlike scholarly publications where the combination of academic reputation and academic training allow us to vouch for the validity of conclusions which a scholar makes from primary sources, Wikipedia can have anyone edit. In order to ensure that our content is of high quality, the community has decided that having all contentious statements Verifiable through good inline citations to WP:Secondary sources is absolutely critical, so that readers and future editors can validate that the opinion does exist. To that end we have a WP:No original research policy, which some of Philosophy of happiness does not comply. It would be useful if you added citations to the article from valid secondary sources about the various ideas which you express, Sadads (talk) 10:28, 22 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
