Navboxes on PA highway articles[edit]

I think you're getting a bit carried away there. How many templates will you be adding to the bottoms of some of the articles on the longer PA highways? Before you get carried away, I think that you should re-evaluate just how many of these templates you're going to deploy into the highway articles. Maybe the best way to link them all together is by categories. In Michigan, we just deleted all of the navboxes for highways by county since they all now use Category:Transportation in Marquette County, Michigan and the like. Especially when you get to articles like Interstate 76 (east), which isn't broken up by state, you'll have a lot of extraneous navboxes at the bottom of it, linking to tenuously related items like museums and radio stations just because it passes through the same town as the museum or station. If navboxes are added, they should have only highways in them, and not the other stuff, and even then, categories and wikilinks to the cities or counties in the body of the article, are a better way to organize them. Not everything needs a navbox. Imzadi 1979  07:44, 28 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I'm pretty much done. I've only been doing places I was familiar with. Some places have articles that aren't linked together in the article that probably should be. --ParadeCloud (talk) 12:05, 28 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Well, there's still the concern that you're linking items together that aren't really related, highways to radio stations, for instance. Imzadi 1979  20:04, 28 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on File:EagleTavernPA2.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the image is an unused redundant copy (all pixels the same or scaled down) of an image in the same file format, which is on Wikipedia (not on Commons), and all inward links have been updated.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines.  Ronhjones  (Talk) 19:40, 23 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

See the discussion on the Talk Page. I have proposed merger with this article and Williams Deluxe Cabins. Icabod's Plaza is apparnently part of the other's NRHP nomination. Please answer on the Talk Page. KudzuVine (talk) 20:57, 6 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]
