August 2010[edit]

Please do not vandalize pages, as you did with this edit to Hanadama. If you continue to do so, you will be blocked from editing. Grafen (talk) 19:03, 19 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

This is the final warning that you will receive regarding your disruptive edits, such as this edit you made to Hanadama. If you vandalize Wikipedia again, you will be blocked from editing without further notice. ... discospinster talk 19:06, 19 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

You have been blocked from editing for a period of 48 hours for your disruption caused by your engagement in an edit war at Hanadama. During a dispute, you should first try to discuss controversial changes and seek consensus. If that proves unsuccessful you are encouraged to seek dispute resolution, and in some cases it may be appropriate to request page protection. If you would like to be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding below this notice the text {{unblock|Your reason here}}, but you should read the guide to appealing blocks first.  Ronhjones  (Talk) 21:21, 19 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia. However, the username you have chosen seems to imply that you are editing on behalf of a group, company or website.

There are two issues with this:

  1. You may have a conflict of interest. In keeping with Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy, you must exercise great caution when editing on topics related to your organization.
  2. Your account cannot represent a group of people. You may wish to create a new account with a username that represents only you. Alternatively, you may consider changing your username to avoid giving the impression that your personal account is being used for promotional purposes.

Regardless of whether you change your name or create a new account, you are not exempted from the guideline to avoid editing where you have a conflict of interest. For information on how to contribute to Wikipedia when you have a conflict of interest, please see our frequently asked questions for organizations. The article in question is Hanadama. Thank you. Your chosen name appears to promote and represent http://www.pearl-education.com, a clear conflict of interest with the articles you are contributing to. (talk) 21:22, 19 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

AfD nomination of Hanadama Pearls[edit]

An editor has nominated Hanadama Pearls, an article which you have created or worked on, for deletion. We appreciate your contributions, but the nominator doesn't believe that the article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in his/her nomination (see also "What Wikipedia is not").

Your opinions on whether the article meets inclusion criteria and what should be done with the article are welcome; please participate in the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Hanadama Pearls and please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~).

You may also edit the article during the discussion to address the nominator's concerns but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion debate. Thank you. Jezhotwells (talk) 00:04, 20 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Your name has been mentioned in connection with a sockpuppetry case. Please refer to Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Pearleducation for evidence. Please make sure you make yourself familiar with the guide to responding to cases before editing the evidence page. (talk) 16:19, 20 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
