[edit] Feedback dashboard script and template
Hiya. I did a thing you might be less than pleased about. I had the script and template deleted. I totally forgot you had adopted the idea. Even I wasn't using it. I can recreate the script if you need it, and the template was kinda saved by User:This, that and the other, by his quick thinking to substitute the template you were transcluding here.
Since the functionality of the embedded version was missing, and nobody else showed any interest, I figured it was a dead idea. Let me know if you want me to recreate the script. I haven't got a copy, but I'm pretty sure it was simple enough. fredgandt 03:31, 7 January 2012 (UTC)
- Thanks for letting me know. I haven't really used it lately (internet access issues/RL business), but may play around with it some in the future. Would you object to my grabbing the script from your deleted edits so I can put it in my vector.js? --Philosopher Let us reason together. 03:41, 7 January 2012 (UTC)
- Can you do that? Awesome!! Saves me rewriting it. Sure thing. Sorry about the fubar. Good luck with rl (or pain in the ass as I call it). fredgandt 03:53, 7 January 2012 (UTC)
- Got it, thanks.
Could you take a quick look and make sure I did this edit right?Actually, it's working - it must be right. Thanks! --Philosopher Let us reason together. 04:08, 7 January 2012 (UTC)- Cool. There are a couple ofthings you might like to change though. See: User_talk:Philosopher/vector.js, and let me know if you need any help with anything. fredgandt 07:06, 7 January 2012 (UTC)
- Replied there. --Philosopher Let us reason together. 03:45, 8 January 2012 (UTC)
- Me too. fredgandt 04:11, 8 January 2012 (UTC)

[edit] Blackout
I would very much like to join you in blacking out my userpage and talk page. How would I go about doing that? Pascal (talk) 12:09, 17 January 2012 (UTC)
- You can do so by adding the following to the top of the area to be blacked out:
<div style="background:#000000; border:4px solid #000000; width:95%; margin:0px auto 0px auto; padding:6px; font-size:.9em; {{round corners}}" id="mainframe"> {|style="background:none; border:0; width:100%;" cellpadding="2px" |- |<div style="background: #FFFFFF; border:4px solid #000000; padding:20px; margin:0px 0px 4px 0px; text-align:center; {{round corners}}"><center>{{User:Philosopher/Header}}</center></div>
- and
|} </div>
- to the bottom of the area to be blacked out. Be aware, however, that I will be restoring the old content of my User:Philosopher/Header shortly after the "official" blackout ends, so you may wish to subst: it. --Philosopher Let us reason together. via alternate account 12:49, 17 January 2012 (UTC)

[edit] Problems With Twinkle
Hi Philosopher, I have a minor problem, twinkle isn't working. I get the whole dropdown menu but on the diff view I don't get the rollback options. Thanks William George Dover [Willdude123] 17:29, 31 January 2012 (UTC) — Preceding unsigned comment added by Willdude123 (talk • contribs)
- Sorry, I don't really know how to fix Twinkle bugs. Perhaps someone at Wikipedia talk:Twinkle can help you. --Philosopher Let us reason together. 11:31, 2 February 2012 (UTC)
[edit] Delegate count on the primary article
Philosopher, maybe you should exchange the word pledge with bound (or put in bound) in the editor note. Maybe you can use the word pledge instead of committed. And since no unbound delegates are going to be selected for more than a month, you might as well specify that those committed delegates are RNC (or automatic) delegates. It might help clear up things. Just a suggestion. Jack Bornholm (talk) 09:57, 2 February 2012 (UTC)
- Replied at that page. --Philosopher Let us reason together. 11:29, 2 February 2012 (UTC)
