File source problem with File:Junerr.jpg[edit]

Thank you for uploading File:Junerr.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, please add a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a brief restatement of that website's terms of use of its content. However, if the copyright holder is a party unaffiliated from the website's publisher, that copyright should also be acknowledged.

If you have uploaded other files, consider verifying that you have specified sources for those files as well. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged per Wikipedia's criteria for speedy deletion, F4. If the image is copyrighted and non-free, the image will be deleted 48 hours after 21:55, 29 August 2010 (UTC) per speedy deletion criterion F7. Surya Sivakumar[edit]

Hey Pranavanps, I believe you are a big big big Surya fan, good, I have no objection! But that doesn't give you the rights to edit Surya's wikipedia page and other Surya-related pages as you wish, violating, neglecting some rules that apply to everyone wikipedian editor. I cleaned up the Surya page as it was full of subjective and unsourced phrases, which is against WP:POV and WP:OR. You perhaps should go through this page and read what can be added to a biography of a living person and what not, how such a page should be styled and written and how not!! If you should continue behaving so stubborn, without comprehending and obeying to wikipedia rules, if you should blindly revert back pages without giving any good reason, you will have to face the consequences, consequences you most probably will not like!! No sir, I never said I am the owner, nobody is the owner of any wikipedian article. You just should understand that you can't write anything you want here. The page earlier looked like a fansite, that is no acceptable. Listen, this happened to Vijay's page, this happened to Ajith's page, this happens to all big stars' pages. You have to understand this is an encyclopedia and anything that is written here must be very neutral and must be reliably sourced. It's not my intention to hurt or make down anybody, but same rules apply to everybody. I hope you understand what I'm saying and don't get angry, take it positively and try only to improve the page in the right way, that's all! Happy editing! Thanks for uploading File:Surya sivakumar 2010 3.jpg. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file agreed to license it under the given license.

If you created this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either

make a note permitting reuse under the CC-BY-SA or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-enwikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here. If you take this step, add {{OTRS pending}} to the file description page to prevent premature deletion.

If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the file to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the file has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to permissions-enwikimedia.org.

Wikimedia Community User Group Sri Lanka[edit]

Thank you for your contributions to the Wikimedia Projects. As an editor from Sri Lanka, you are warmly invited to join the official Wikimedia Community User Group Sri Lanka and to subscribe to its mailing list, Wikimedia-LK.

The user group currently includes volunteers from Wikipedia and other projects, from the English, Sinhala, and Tamil speaking communities. It is the Wikimedia-approved platform for editors from Sri Lanka to enable wider collaboration, for both online and offline projects.

With your support, we hope to organize cross-project content improvement drives as part of online projects, as well as organize in-person edit-a-thons, training sessions, photowalks, and other such activities, in the near future. The ultimate goal(s) of these initiatives is to improve the overall coverage and quality of topics relating to Sri Lanka, as well as encourage new editors to join the Wikimedia community, while simultaneously empowering and retaining our existing team of editors.

There are no mandatory obligations for members who choose join the community, other than the usual editing rules for online projects, and the friendly space policy for in-person projects. You may also (or instead) subscribe to the mailing list, where any member could initiate discussions with volunteers across projects, notify members of events and meetings, stay up to date with competitions, organize your own events, and so on.
