Disambiguation support request[edit]

Hi,

While working on article Islamic advice literature I realized that word 'Qisas' is appearing in different meaning at Qisas Al-Anbiya it comes as story/anecdote telling (alternative spelling Kissa). And in article named Qisas seems to come as revenge. Need support in creating proper disambiguation page and links so reader do not end up in unexpected pages.

Of course article Islamic advice literature too needs support in update and expansion since lot of scholarly references are available in books and google scholar too.

Question re Arabic diacritics page[edit]

Hello, Profes.I. I am new to Wikipedia, but if I am correct you did some early editing on the Arabic Diacritics pagehttps://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Arabic_diacritics. You may be the original author. That page currently states that fatha, kasra and damma are usually omitted before the corresponding long vowels. I believe that is correct. But the page cites no authority for that statement, and because of something I'm writing, in which I want to make the same assertion, I need an authority to cite. Do you have one? Although I did contribute to that page, unfortunately I was neither the originator of it, nor of that specific content. It was a statement already present by the time I made my first edit of the page in March 2020‎. How far back I do not know, but it is at least present in the edit beforehand ([1]). As you say, it is a reality, something done in practice and not a thing really disagreed upon. If you were in need to find it in a source, the suggestion would be to make some online searches for phrases like "Reading Arabic without vowels/harakat/tashkil" and the like. I imagine a similar statement must be attainable somewhere out there, hopefully something useful for your in progress treatise. -Profes.I. (talk) 17:47, 18 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
