Vandalism

Please refrain from erasing other editors' contributions and creating multiple pages relating to the same subject. This is considered vandalism in the form of a POV fork. If you continue, you will be reported. Thank you. Лилјак 14:03, 12 August 2007 (UTC)

  • Actually, you are vandalising my articles, you can notice that by seeing who created those articles in the forst place and who was moving them around. Revizionist 14:27, 12 August 2007 (UTC)

Please, stop with political propaganda and with cleaning of sourced info! Jingby 05:47, 13 August 2007 (UTC)

SNOF article

Hi. Could you please discuss the article title at Talk:Narodno Osloboditelen Front? --Michalis Famelis (talk) 14:45, 12 August 2007 (UTC)

NOF

The article "Slavic Macedonian National Liberation Front" should be deleted and integrated with the article about the National Liberation Front. Also, add the following tag to your uploaded images do that they are not deleted, {{PD-RoM}}. 124.168.106.129 10:33, 13 August 2007 (UTC)

3RR violation

You have violated the three-revert rule on the article National Liberation Front (Macedonia) and you will be reported to Wikipedia Administrators. P.S. You cannot stop other Wikipedians contributing to an article because you have not "finished the text", see: WP:OWN. Лилјак 15:25, 13 August 2007 (UTC)

Re

Please do not make false accusations against me, I have not violated any Wikipedia rules on National Liberation Front (Macedonia), I merely noticed an edit war among you and other Wikipedia users and you have violated the three-revert rule in doing so. Лилјак 15:32, 13 August 2007 (UTC)

You cannot claim an article as yours if you have written it, the purpose of Wikipedia is to allow other users to contribute. I repeat, you do NOT own the article! Лилјак 15:45, 13 August 2007 (UTC)

Changes

You are welcome, since you talk Greek then, και εγώ δεν έχω πρόβλημα με το ethnic Macedonians αντί του Macedonian Slavs ή του Slavomacedonian από τη στιγμή που το άρθρο μιλάει για αυτούς.

Blocked for edit-warring

Based on this evidence [1], I understand that this anon IP [2] was you, which means that you broke the Three-Revert-Rule while edit-warring over Minorities in Greece. You are therefore blocked for 24 hours. Please feel free to return when the block expires, but do make an effort at constructive dispute resolution instead of edit-warring. Also, please do not use anonymous edits to hide your role when making controversial edits. For your information, your opponent Kapnisma is being blocked too. Fut.Perf. 20:19, 3 September 2007 (UTC)

Responding to a block by immediately turning to another IP sock for block evasion ([3]) is not a very clever thing to do. I'm upping your block to 48 hours, which will soon grow very very quickly to something much longer if your continue in this vein. Fut.Perf. 20:36, 3 September 2007 (UTC)
Okay, now we've got 62.162.185.55 (talk · contribs · WHOIS), 62.162.186.153 (talk · contribs · WHOIS), 62.162.190.149 (talk · contribs · WHOIS) and others, all from your IP range. Your block goes up to 10 days, plus a short-term range block on the IP. Fut.Perf. 21:08, 3 September 2007 (UTC)
First of all I am neither of these ipusers you just presented. If you look in their contribution page, you'll see that they are active in ancient Macedonia and Ilinden period articles - and i am active only in World war two Macedonia and Greek Civil War related articles. Second, and maybe most important - you didn't send me the notice while I was making changes in Minorities in Greece, you send me those warnings when I was not connected to the net. If you have sent me the warning on time, I would have stopped (as I did actually without receiving any warning - see talk page in the bottom where I say that I wont revert until an admin arrives). Also see the time when I made the last revert in page history of Minorities in Greece and the time you sent me the warning on my talk page. Obviously your warning was sent much later. So I respectfully ask you to take out this ban that compromises my academic and gentlemen behavior and come and start a mediation process in Minorities in Greece talk page. P.S. Kapnisma broke the Three-Revert-Rule, I reverted it only 2 times, and agreed that I will wait an administrator to come. The issue is not so big - but is principle. Nothing in the text or in the structure will be changed. Only a link to a book written by an ethnic Macedonian from Greece will be imputed. Nothing else. Cheers. Revizionist 10:38, 04 September 2007 (UTC)
Hmm, but then what about this edit: [4]. Are you claiming this was an impersonator? Fut.Perf. 08:52, 4 September 2007 (UTC)
Update: Please see here. I've asked checkuser to help sort this out. Right now, I still think you were the IP who first made those reverts on the Minorities article and thus you broke the 3RR, but I think I may have misattributed the later reversion spree to you when it may have come from another user , Amacos, who is on the same ISP and just happened to get blocked on an unrelated matter at the same time as you. Please wait a bit until we can get this sorted out. Fut.Perf. 10:43, 4 September 2007 (UTC)
Dear Fut.Perf. , let me propose this gentlemen agreement - Lift the ban, and I will read most of Wikipedia normative materials and will comply with them. As you can see, I am a registered Wikipedian for a time period which is less than a month – which is a very short term to learn all the rules and behavior codex. And as you can see, nobody complains about my activity here. So, I give you my gentlemen word that if you lift the ban today I will act in accordance with the rules (as I did before in 90% of the cases) and will ask admin assistance and mediation instead of reverting. Yours, Revizionist 16:28, 04 September 2007 (UTC)
Okay, I was getting more and more convinced I blocked the wrong guy about that reversion spree last night anyway. Sorry about that, it was an unfortunate misunderstanding based on a coincidence with another user who happened to share your ISP. So, since you've "sat out" most of your original 3RR block anyway, welcome back. Just make sure you stay away from revert-warring, okay? I know those Macedonian topics are forever contentious, it's not easy to build consensus there, but we'll just all have to try... Fut.Perf. 15:43, 4 September 2007 (UTC)
I've unblocked. For technical reasons, there may still be something called an Autoblock which may prevent you from editing. If you find you're still blocked by that, just let me know your current IP and I can lift it too. (Because of a current software bug I can't do that in advance, unfortunately.) Fut.Perf. 15:49, 4 September 2007 (UTC)
No problem Fut.Perf.. Even the best people make mistakes. I hope this will become a beginning of a beautiful Wiki friendship. Revizionist 10:58, 05 September 2007 (UTC)

Ok, it is changed now. My mistake. P.S. Thanks for the notice. I appreciate it. Revizionist 09:41, 06 September 2007 (UTC)

Userboxes

Please read Wikipedia:Userboxes. You are creating userboxes in the wrong namespace, as User pages of users who do not currently exist. Thanks — Timotab Timothy (not Tim dagnabbit!) 12:05, 8 September 2007 (UTC)

Your best choice is probably to put it in Template:User Ethnic Macedonian and then you can use it by using {{User Ethnic Macedonian}}. That means anyone looking at the code can easily see that it's a Userbox. — Timotab Timothy (not Tim dagnabbit!) 12:29, 8 September 2007 (UTC)
Also, I've moved Wikipedia:Userboxes/Ethnic groops to Wikipedia:Userboxes/Ethnic groups as this is the correct spelling — Timotab Timothy (not Tim dagnabbit!) 12:32, 8 September 2007 (UTC)

I have noticed the creation of a userbox for your nationality that includes a greek state symbol. Please, remove it or replace it with the flag of your state. Kapnisma ? 13:13, 8 September 2007 (UTC)

Image issue

Another image issue: the page photographs you uploaded today for Macedonia naming dispute aren't public domain, they remain copyrighted by the publishers of those books. You need to declare them as "fair use". I've done one for you [5], please do the rest accordingly and fill in as much of source information (both about the original print source and the web source you got the photographs from) as you can. Thanks, Fut.Perf. 20:14, 8 September 2007 (UTC)

Sorry, but with this one Image:Chento partizani.JPG, you need to specify who the copyright holder is and when and how they released it into the public domain. Plus, the source where you got it from. Fut.Perf. 10:45, 11 September 2007 (UTC)

Orphaned non-free media (Image:Greek encyclopaedia 80s Frontpage.jpg)

Thanks for uploading Image:Greek encyclopaedia 80s Frontpage.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

I am shure you did not reat the article about him!He died as Bulgarian! Jingby 10:20, 21 September 2007 (UTC)

He had a lot of u-turns in his life, but he died as an etnic Macedonian. Nobody is talking that Hristo Tatarchev or Matov were Macedonians by ehtnicity, but for Misirkov it is important that he created the philosophical bases of the modern ethnic Macedonian identity. In the Republic of Macedonia he is maybe the most selebrated person. Revizionist 10:20, 21 September 2007 (UTC)

He was buried with aid from the Government as Director of Bulgarian school. [6] His Bulgarian identity is shown too in the three last articles he wrote before his death: "Bulgarian school" - "Mir", XXXI,7457, 2 Mаy 1925,[7] "School and Socialism" - "Мir", XXXI,7476,26 May 1925, [8] "Church and school" -"Мir" XXXII,7541,13 August 1925[9] Jingby 10:51, 21 September 2007 (UTC)

It is not important where he is most celebrated. It is important what he did all his life! He was very entangled and muddled person. Jingby 10:57, 21 September 2007 (UTC)

Stop cunning! On the picture you have added on Ethnic Macedonians is not Cupovski, but Misirkov! Jingby 11:56, 21 September 2007 (UTC) Now is Cupovski! O.K! Jingby 12:02, 21 September 2007 (UTC)

Thanks, but...

First of all, thanks for the barnstar. But another thing: can you please clarify the source and status of those Macedonian folk dance images. Why did you first upload Image:Ethnic Macedonian Dance 1.JPG etc. as "PD-RoM", i.e. public domain, and then when they were deleted you re-uploaded them on commons claiming they were self-made? Fut.Perf. 16:19, 2 October 2007 (UTC)

Ah, I now see you were discussing this with Riana on commons. I'll leave it to him to sort this out. Fut.Perf. 16:33, 2 October 2007 (UTC)
Okay, thanks for explaining. I'm still a bit skeptical though, about your claim that WW2 photographs are automatically out of copyright. When I read the Macedonian copyright law the other day during the discussion of that PD-RoM template, it didn't seem to be saying that. It only mentioned the 70 y.p.m.a. rule, and obviously no WW2 photograph can possibly be taken by a photographer who has been dead for more than 70 years, right? But as I said, I'll just leave it to Riana. Fut.Perf. 13:20, 3 October 2007 (UTC)

Fair use rationale for Image:Ann Mulhall.jpg

Thanks for uploading or contributing to Image:Ann Mulhall.jpg. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia constitutes fair use. Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Fair use rationale for Image:Barbara Bouchet.jpg

Thanks for uploading or contributing to Image:Barbara Bouchet.jpg. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use. Suggestions on how to do so can be found here.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

Unspecified source for Image:Barbara Bouchet.jpg

Thanks for uploading Image:Barbara Bouchet.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, then you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, then their copyright should also be acknowledged.

As well as adding the source, please add a proper copyright licensing tag if the file doesn't have one already. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Fair use, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after ~~~~. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Keysuc7 04:18, 25 October 2007 (UTC)

If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page.
