Proposed deletion of user pages of Pink cloudy sky (talk · contribs)[edit]

I have removed the proposed deletion tags you placed on the 5 userpages of Pink cloudy sky (talk · contribs), as per policy only articles may be deleted under the proposed deletion process. Proposed deletion of Ray Mears' Essential Bushcraft[edit]

Hi, no-one seems very interested in this deletion. Since you're only wanting a redirect to his Bushcraft book, you could simply withdraw the nomination, and then we can propose a merge on the article's talk page - if nobody objects then we just do it (AfD wasn't needed in this case). Chiswick Chap (talk) 08:55, 6 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

mention it on the afd page thenStedrick (talk) 16:52, 8 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]
;-) I had done that already. It's up to you to withdraw if you feel happy to do so; otherwise we just wait (maybe weeks) and eventually most likely the page will get merged in due course. All the best Chiswick Chap (talk) 19:07, 8 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Quote:

I believe people should not be taxed their hard earned money. It bothers me that the place where you live has the right to take away money you earn against your will and spend it however it wishes on things having nothing to do with you.

Seriously ?? Does the phrase "No taxation WITHOUT REPRESENTATION" not mean anything to you ? Your taxes are spent in accordance with the policies of YOUR elected representatives. Given this, it seems you are annoyed by either one of two scenarios:

(1) You are too lazy to exercise your democratic vote and thus are not represted.

(2) Your elected politicians are corrupt and consequently fail to represent you no matter how you vote.

If (1) is true then you have no one to blame for your iritation other than yourself. If its (2) then I believe there are any number of relevant quotes about your "Right to bear arms" which should suggest a solution to your percieved problem. Either way, I think I have demonstrated that:

'I am a dumb@ss ....' would be a more accurate opening to this paragraph than 'I am a Republican ....'

Here endeth the lesson

Dear Stedrick. I just wanted to let you know that a merge discussion is currently taking place regarding the content of this article (as you probably remember, you participated in an AfD held over this article in the past) and the content of the rest of the U.S. number-one by-decade series of articles.

Please express your opinion on this matter in the current discussion. Thank you. TheCuriousGnome (talk) 21:04, 9 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]
