"Odd" csbot behavior

Got it!

You created Two two = five at 13:16, 5 March 2008 (UTC), and that was then swiftly deleted by Elkman (talk · contribs · blocks · protections · deletions · page moves · rights · RfA) as an obvious error while reverting vandalism. CSBot saw the accidental copy of Two + two = five, tagged you (obscurely because of the name), but since you couldn't see what was the source of the copy, and the destination had already been deleted (and thus gone from your visible contribution)... confusion ensued! — Coren (talk) 19:13, 5 March 2008 (UTC)

Thank you for offer of help. I have made some corrections now in the proper manner. It seems a Mr. Steve Crossin has now taken up your editing cause.

To clarify just a few points: Derrick Publishing is in Oil City, PA - not Dunkirk, NY. Dunkirk is where another of my radios stations was located. Yes, I was an owning partner of VOX Allegany (correct spelling) which owned WOWQ.

  1. 2 - The train station was NOT where our building was. Our building was the original DuBois Company Bank. #3. I corrected some of the personality names.

There was no intent of vandalism and I apologize for not communicating with you in the proper manner.

Actually, I am using 0.6.3
I haven't had any trouble until last night, when it reported someone with no warnings to AIV. The user was reported on UAA, so I don't know if that had anything to do with it. J.delanoygabsadds 16:00, 14 March 2008 (UTC)

Well, like I said, I've made more than 12000 edits with Huggle, and it has done that once, so don't check every report, just be aware that stuff like that can happen, so if you get a note from someone at AIV, you know what happened. J.delanoygabsadds 17:10, 14 March 2008 (UTC)
Yeah, I know, but in my mind, protecting my userpage does two things:
  1. It lets the vandals win—"He warned me but he's scared I'll fight back, so he has his userpage protected."
  2. It lets the vandals let out steam.—"I got blocked, but I sure told him off..." Since I don't care what vandals think about me, I just let them spew off. If my page was protected, the vandal's anger could build up and they could turn themselves into another Hitler. I know that's probably a stretch, but you never know.
The reason I have all that crap on my userpage is to force vandals to work if they want to subtlety vandalize my userpage. Unless you know HTML and wikimarkup fairly well, you will not be able to figure out what is going on with my userpage. So basically, the only thing they can do is blank the page and/or add content that will be obviously out of place. Or they can add stuff to that banner, which I could quote to you in my sleep... constellation group clearly you have bad taste

i find it rather shocking that you prevent an honest user from expressing his views on a multinational conglomerate, that produces truely terrible wine. As seen above, you live in the UK. Just try Kumala or Hardys (both produced by the afore mentioned constellation group (who also produce the £0.30 for 2L bottle of diamond white)) next time you are in your local co-op, they taste rather like what i would imagine toilet cleaner to taste like...or perhaps a more accurate description would be the toilet water before the cleaner is added!

Actually it wasn't. When i was placing joke number 9 on a talk page i got a message stating that the link i added was actually on a blacklist, and it referred me to the article it just linked. Revised Edit Message

Hello, I am a Wikipedia user without an account, an anonymous user, if you will. I'm sending this message in regards to the notification of having an edit revised. I bring this to your attention due to the fact that I never made such an edit on Scales (Zoology) and that there may be a problem with your IP address recorder.

In recent days, I viewed a page regarding scales in association with musical instruments (IE: Pentatonic, Aeolian, Mixolydian, etc...). This is only to inform you that there may be a glitch in your system that registers IP addresses to edits made on Wikipedia articles.

Hiroshima and Nagasaki article....

Hey there Tom! Long time no... something. Anyway. The article about Hiroshima and Nagasaki, the one Atomic bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki, has something that was taken from a book. It's almost a whole section that was copied from a book. Is that alright? Or no? I'm just wondering. I noticed because I was reading the book and looking on here for the research that I had to do on the subject. So if you can get back to me please do. It starts at the "The Bombing" part and goes down to the end of the "Japenese Realization..." part. That's as far as I got and yes it's word-for-word. Why thank you. Innacurate post on a page

Hi Tom,

What can be done if someone insists upon having something incorrect posted on a wikipedia page. I have been trying to edit a page and state my reason for editing, and it gets ignored. I would like to discuss the change with whomever is interested.

New Project

Myself and several other editors have been compiling a list of very active editors who would likely be available to help new editors in the event they have questions or concerns. As the list grew and the table became more detailed, it was determined that the best way to complete the table was to ask each potential candidate to fill in their own information, if they so desire. This list is sorted geographically in order to provide a better estimate as to whether the listed editor is likely to be active.

If you consider yourself a very active Wikipedian who is willing to help newcomers, please either complete your information in the table or add your entry. If you do not want to be on the list, either remove your name or just disregard this message and your entry will be removed within 48 hours. Re-write what?? The part of the article? I type very fast. One day my mom was watching me chat with my BFF (best friend forever) and she said "that's how you know you IM too much. WP:HAU has a new format

Due to popular demand, HAU has a new look. Since the changes are so dramatic, I may have made some mistakes when translating the data. Please take a look at WP:HAU/EU and make sure your checkmarks are in the right place and feel free to add or remove some. There is a new feature, SoxBot V, a recently approved bot, automatically updates your online/offline status based on the length of time since your last edit. To allow SoxBot V to do this, you'll need to copy [[Category:Wikipedians who use StatusBot]] to your userpage.
