This is not going to be acceptable, and accept my honesty when I say it's not going to be acceptable at all any time soon, because not only was it deleted by a community listing (at which I participated) last year that found none of the information or sources confirmed this as notable; this is essentially the same as last year's article; the fact the company is still attempting to gain and establish funding, and the news is largely about this, it's not going to be acceptable. At best, I suggest waiting some years and where it goes from there.

Asian 10,000 Challenge invite[edit]

Hi. The Wikipedia:WikiProject Asia/The 10,000 Challenge has recently started, based on the UK/Ireland Wikipedia:The 10,000 Challenge and Wikipedia:WikiProject Africa/The 10,000 Challenge. The idea is not to record every minor edit, but to create a momentum to motivate editors to produce good content improvements and creations and inspire people to work on more countries than they might otherwise work on. There's also the possibility of establishing smaller country or regional challenges for places like South East Asia, Japan/China or India etc, much like Wikipedia:The 1000 Challenge (Nordic). For this to really work we need diversity and exciting content and editors from a broad range of countries regularly contributing. At some stage we hope to run some contests to benefit Asian content, a destubathon perhaps, aimed at reducing the stub count would be a good place to start, based on the current Wikipedia:WikiProject Africa/The Africa Destubathon which has produced near 200 articles in just three days. If you would like to see this happening for Asia, and see potential in this attracting more interest and editors for the country/countries you work on please sign up and being contributing to the challenge! This is a way we can target every country of Asia, and steadily vastly improve the encyclopedia. We need numbers to make this work so consider signing up as a participant! The draft is too short on independent secondary sources to demonstrate notability.

The Business Today article is written by Bajaj. The IndiaInfoLine pieces are Bajaj in Bajaj's words, interviews with no independent analysis or discussion. Sections that don't quote Bajaj are lifted verbatim from the annual reports of his companies, e.g. "he is a unique embodiment of time tested traditions, visionary zeal and humane concern". Sourcing Electricals & Lighting and Elcoma are a trade journal and trade association respectively. These do not help demonstrate notability because of their limited audience and often too-cozy relationship with the industries and companies they cover. The information on the Elcoma webpage, for instance, is copied word for word from the corporate webpage of Bajaj Electricals Ltd. It's okay to use the Mumbai Mirror to establish the name of his daughter, but coverage of a fire that gutted their flat is not the sort of coverage that demonstrates his notability.

The Business Standard article is a reliable, independent, secondary source, but it is mostly about Bajaj Electricals. It says little about Shekhar Bajaj. As Shekhar Bajaj has not been shown to be notable, I recommend merging a paragraph of content about him to Bajaj Group. It, and related articles Bajaj Auto, Bajaj Corp, Bajaj Electricals, Bajaj Hindusthan, Jamnalal Bajaj, Rahul Bajaj, Kushagra Bajaj, and Rajiv Bajaj are deeply flawed. If you're interested in the group, I suggest improving some of them instead of pursuing this draft.
