Five Pillars of Wikipedia
Float around for awhile until you find something that tickles your fancy. One easy way to do this is to hit the random page button in the navigation bar to the left. There are also many great committees and groups that focus on particular jobs. My personal favorite stomping grounds are Wikipedia:Translation into English and Wikipedia:Cleanup for sloppy articles. Finally, the Wikimedia Foundation has several other wiki projects that you might enjoy.
There are a few crucial points to keep in mind when editing. Spaanse methode/commons[edit]
Waar staat Spaanse_methode.png op commons? Je hebt overigens een niet-bestaand sjabloon gebruikt op de afbeeldingspagina. Je kunt dit vervangen door {{nucommons|bestandsnaam}}. Groeten, Xyboi 19:11, 29 May 2006 (UTC)
- Ik heb e.e.a. even nagekeken, en dit misverstand is veroorzaakt doordat het sjabloon Verplaats naar Wikimedia Commons blijkbaar (ook) niet bestaat op de Nederlandse wiki... Bedoeld wordt "deze afbeelding is beschikbaar onder een vrije licensie en kandidaat om verplaatst te worden, maar degene die dat opmerkte had er even geen tijd voor". Wat ook de reden is dat ik het niet bestaan van het template niet had gezien. Na het SVG sjabloon vertaald te hebben dacht ik "bliksem slaat geen twee keer op dezelfde plaats in"... Wikimedia Conferentie in Nederland![edit]
Beste,
Er wordt een Wikimedia Conferentie in Nederland georganiseerd. Er is al een voorlopig programma met lezingen van Jimbo Wales, Kurt Jansson en vele anderen, workshops en discussies over bijvoorbeeld de Easy Timeline, pywikipediabot en de toekomst van wiki[p/m]edia. Het zou me leuk lijken als je ook kon komen! Meld je snel aan op de inschrijfpagina, want we moeten snel weten hoeveel mensen er ongeveer komen! Stuur deze uitnodiging vooral ook door naar anderen die geïnteresseerd zouden kunnen zijn door {{subst:user:Effeietsanders/wcn}}~~~~ op hun overlegpagina's te plakken.
