The entire section on Franklin regretting not vaccination this son against smallpox is fable. Fake. The page claims he wrote that in 1774 and had created a foundation. The vaccine against smallpox wasn’t even created until 1798. 62 years after the child had passed and 18 years after that supposed fake foundation had been made. There was no prior inoculation for smallpox. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2603:9000:a705:6987:6d68:b9bb:9215:e97 (talkcontribs)
