Pablo Picasso[edit]

Wouldn't "on display" or "displayed" be better? I suspect a Picasso is actually bolted or welded to the wall rather then "hung". Cheers Jim1138 (talk) 22:34, 3 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Your recent edits[edit]

Hello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You could also click on the signature button or located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when they said it. Thank you. --SineBot (talk) 01:07, 12 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

June 2012[edit]

You have been blocked from editing for a period of 24 hours for abuse of editing privileges. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions. If you would like to be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}, but you should read the guide to appealing blocks first. Moonriddengirl (talk) 01:57, 12 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]
This user's unblock request has been reviewed by an administrator, who declined the request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without good reason (see the blocking policy).

Request reason:

your reason here Bbb23 is on a personal vendeta for me proving him wrong. He is a bully who apparently takes editing as a life and any criticism makes him go crazy like a spoiled child. He in fact should be banned.

Decline reason:

Unblock requests containing personal attacks are not considered -- especially when you are blocked for personal attacks. --jpgordon::==( o ) 02:06, 12 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

If Bbb23 were the only editor with whom you had clashed, there might be some reason to look into your allegations. However, you were warned about personal attacks after refactoring somebody else's comments on June 3rd and vandalizing his user page. Your reaction to that warning is instructive, as is your subsequent behavior. If you do not follow WP:NPA and WP:CIVIL after the block expires, additional steps may be necessary. These policies are not optional; you are required to work collegially with other editors, even when you think they are wrong. --Moonriddengirl (talk) 02:04, 12 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Additional steps will be necessary? What? You're going to arrest me? Do you see how comically sad this is? No wonder the US is dying with this babying crap. It's a joke. The lack of education of many of the "editors" is laughable and sad. When they get called out on it, they cry like little children and go run and cry for help.

You guys need to grow up. I guess you have no control in your lives, so you have to play this sad game of you hurt my feelings, I won't let you play my game. No wonder no college professor accepts Wikipedia as anything of substance.

Lots of professors do; we have an education programme at many universities :). And "additional steps" mean "if you post childish and offensive missives on your talkpage having been blocked, we will remove your ability to edit your talkpage". This has now been done. Ironholds (talk) 02:15, 12 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Since you have said nothing but more personal attacks since being blocked, I took away your ability to edit your talk page until the block expires. Look, I can see that adding accurate information to Wikipedia is important to you. But as Moonriddengirl said, this is a collaborative project. Disagreements and misunderstandings happen. Editors who are incapable of resolving those issues peacefully are not permitted to edit here. While you're on this 24 hour break, please think about whether this is actually the right place for you. • I'll be blunter. If your behavior after this block expires is anything similar to your behavior up till now, you will be blocked again, indefinitly, in very short order. WP:CIVIL and WP:NPA are not optional. - The Bushranger One ping only 03:06, 12 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]
  • Beyond any of the above, Yryriza, it doesn't do you any good if your sole defense is that everyone else is wrong and you alone are right when - as it happens - you're not. In looking over your recent articlespace edits, you're insistent on putting up a YouTube video of a copyrighted performance. You're insistent that "loan" is not a verb and that "drunken" is not a word, premises with which Merriam-Webster disagrees. You're insistent that paintings are "hanged," not "hung," a usage unfamiliar to the art world. You infer that the computer origins of "reboot" means it cannot be used in any other context, a rule found in no grammar or lexicon. When all is said and done, you have been wrong in many of these edits, and routinely insulting while making them. We cannot afford the former on Wikipedia, and we do not want the latter. • I'm quite confident that this edit [1] was by this very same editor. I'm pretty sure that an unblock won't be needed anytime soon. I've blocked that IP. Dennis Brown - © 02:04, 13 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]
