Improvement US-Pakistan Relations is Possible ?

Pak US relations remains very dicey since decades. After 9/11 Pakistan was forced to assist USA against Osama bin Laden (OBL) but major turn has been noticed after May 2, 2011 unilateral Washington’s action of killing of OBL in Abbottabad, Pakistan. The tensions in two countries further increased when American top political and military brass has threatened of launching ground attack on Pakistan. US also leveled baseless allegations against ISI for supporting Taliban and Haqqani Group. However Pakistan political and military leadership rejected all allegations and very strongly responded to US potent threat. Pakistani COAS stated that any misadventure against Pakistan will be dealt with full strength. At this time of the juncture, US probably realize the consequences of straight threat and continuously deteriorating relations between Pakistan and America, Hilary Clinton visited Pakistan to defuse the situation. Although diminution in tension has been observed after October 21, 2011 the visit of US sectary of State but still America has to do more in improving upon the bilateral relations between two frontline allies of GWOT. The confidence can be build up through releasing reaming funds in connection with military aid, assisting Pakistan in resolving Kashmir and water Issue, stop RAW and CIA for fomenting terrorism in Pakistan.
